Northern Lights Cabinet Grow..First Time

what's good arch? got any reveg pics of baby girl yet? you got me thinking about doing some NL my next grow too bro...
 
Nada yet bro...been chillin and smoking...a lil more than usual. She has started to get some new greenery and I will most likely start the new thread next week. Ill link it from here. Im being lazy..lol. With what I harvested and the way I usually smoke, I have enough to last me well past my next grow. Well if I quit smoking the way I have this past week or so. I blazed so hard the other night, my wife was calling me tipsy..lol. I only did it as a test under adult supervision..lol. Please dont try this at home..lmao.

thats funny wish my girl smoked she is ok with me having it tho so thats kewl just miss her actually doing it and chilling

Hey bro I hear you! When the wife and I first met she got high almost as much as I did. Now she doesnt really smoke. Maybe a bit here and there but it isnt the same.
 
i'm in the same boat as jhod, gf doesn't smoke, but at least she's cool with me doing it :) . my last gf wasn't, and that was a constant headache... too much info?

anywho arch, i'm glad you're enjoying your NL bro, and i'm probably like you, takes me several months to go through an ounce, that's why i'm keeping my grows small, quality is waaaay more important than quantity...
 
Whats up Arch? Hows things going with your grows dude?

I havn't messed with my thread in a few days.. main reason being.. this white rhino is pretty damn good.. a good couch lock if u smoke about a full bowl to the face. I was wrong in assuming both the clones i had took, were dead.. This isn't totally true. Yesterday i checked the other station where my clones are, and the original 2 i cut, seems to look pretty dead, but there is still a teent, tiny bit of green left on the WR clone. and a good bit of green on the BM clone. I also too an additional 2 more clones, about 4 days ago. This time, i bought the Schultz Take Root at wally world. I then added some of my recently squired earthworm castings to the soil. I cut the clones, with a brand fkn new pair of scissors, and did the deed. Today, a few days later, they've lost less color, and look like they will take faster, than the original first 2 clones. Thats 4 clones all together... I'm banking on 3 of em taking root.. also the Green poison, bush-white rhino, and blue mistic are still flowering. they'll hit week 9 here shortly. (Saturday).

Heres a picture of one of the jars I am curing in. The smoke has gotten even smoother..smoother than most of the weed I have smoked over the years. Smells like fresh lawn to my wife...smells clean to me slightly piney.

Man, whats with us stoners having GF's that dont blaze? I was with a girl who didn't smoke for 7 years, and for the first 5 years she was cool with it. But as time went on, it began to wear on her more and more, and eventually just became a problem. I'm SOOOO glad right now that my current girl is a pothead. She even steers with her knees to smoke while driving...the sign of a devoted stoner! LOL
 
Thanks so much for this thread Arch, and to all the other regular (and occasional contributors) who made it such an incredible read from start to finish (and I mean that - I'm reading, reading, reading right now and I've been from the first page to the last, reading almost every comment in detail tonight, 6 hours +, not stoned but have that touch of OCD too :-P) I've repped everyone who stood out all the way through - you all deserve every last drop of it.

An amazing grow, and an amazing journey! As per usual, I would have loved a bit more info about the process you went through with the LST at various stages Arch, but that's just being completely selfish, seeing as you did such an incredible job (just look at that symmetry at the harvest!). I know that info's already out there, and I just need to find it - that's up to me!

As a first grow that's incredible, and really, really inspiring, oh yeah :clap: Not only your results, but the way you've treated everyone with respect and attention throughout's been a standout, and it's so great to see that's been rewarded (as it should be, and almost always is), with much love from fellow afficianados :leaf:

You clearly have the greenest of fingers, I'll be following every post you make from here on in, that's for sure!

I found this thread because I'm considering my first cab grow under CFL. Like I say I'm reading till my eyes bleed right now, but haven't seen much on Northern Lights, if anything at all till now. 20 years ago in the UK that and straight Super Skunk was the first we got here as teens apart from the regular Thai etc, and decent hashes (yep, we used to mostly get decent hashes here then!) and the NL was my first great love, and probably my best memory, and is one of the first things I'm most keen to try again.

Just wanted to say 'hi' and a huge 'thanks' to you for a superbly documented journal, really well supported by others, and I can't wait to see what the future brings :hump:

Around page 40-odd when you said (I think) you were predicting a first-week-in-March harvest I started to panic a bit, and that I'd put in a whole evening only to not yet see the final results!! I hope to be hanging round here for quite a bit, and one day soon coming along for the whole ride with others, and hopefully starting my own journey soon too, that others can hang on if they wish. Until then though it's SUCH a pleasure to read threads like these from start to (not quite yet I hope!) finish. Awesome stuff!! :peace:

So whats the update for the next grow? are you going back to LST or would u consider a perpetual operation for a constant flow of delicious trees? Your first grow was amazing from start to finish! Have you learned anything new along the way while growing to help you out? btw this is an interview! lol
 
So Ive been away for a while but seems all went very well, congratulations on the bountiful harvest! ive been experimenting with some blue moonshine and the tric production on these plants are unreal. been working with someone else on this one but when I get mine up and running ill start a thread and be sure to send the link. congrats again and let me know if you end up starting a new thread.
