those y socket adapter are rated at 660w im pretty sure so you can hook up pretty much any medium sized light and and keep adding them, even more so with cfl's cause they use such low wattage
Yep,

I am not totally sure what the actual cord and socket are rated for, so I try to keep them in line with what would be a normal usage amount of wattage.

You GOT to love the vape...heres my reasoning...your high is actually higher because you have NOT introduced all of the other trash into your system when burning the weed. None of the mind, lung, everything clogging material that you usually do. I would have never guessed it until i started vaping..Im sold now. I use way less weed.

Ill have more pics here in a few days..lol..Letting her grow a lil more...shes been making some nice moves so I am letting her go.

Ok folks...more pictures today.

Did some manicuring and a little more LST. Those are the clippings in the rash and yes..that is a box of "Crunch and Munch". What..you dont eat that shit when your high?..lol. I exposed more of the plant to light so I get better development of bud sites.

I am heading out today to get a few more light fixture cords and another timer for them. She is spreading out nicely and I am adding some more light locations for better coverage.

Check out some of the new growth and those plant tie wires are the shit. They are dark green but you can see them in a few of the pictures. I love them. Just cut them to length and bend them how you need them to be shaped.

Enjoy!

Oh...and the really funny thing that I have noticed this far. I have only fed nutes twice and from that started to get some burn so I backed off of them. She is still getting nothing but water. I am going to let her rest another day after todays trimming session and then Thursday for sure she gets a 24 HOUR dark session then into 12/12 light cycle.

Any last input on whether 24 hours of dark makes a difference....Last call.

I've heard both ways..yes and no. I think just try it both ways and see what happens..ya know over your next couple grows. I really like those ties your using. I'm using some nylon ribbon right now. And it looks like I stole your screws around the pot idea without even really realizing it. Looks good man. I'll keep copying off you. HAHA.

heres what i found on another board from a well known grower:

"Yes there is a drastic difference, especially when swicthing from a Metal Halide to a High Pressure Sodium bulb.
When you have had a plant growing under 24 hours of Blue spectrum light constantly for a month, then the light goes off for 24 hours and when the light turns back on the spectrum is Red. from this sudden change in seasonal environment, The plants natural instincts to flower and reproduce kick into overdrive.
I have used this technique many times with results of bud set occurring 3-5 sooner then usual".

and then others says its worthless.

so, do it if it makes you feel better, LoL.

Thanks CD...muchas gracious Amigo. Im definitely going for it. I got nothing to lose and confirmation one way or the other to gain.

Took another picture just now. Me and my infinite light show..lmao. Made a change to it for hopefully my final configuration for the duration of the grow discounting the change in light fixture height.

Dude..I soooo plagiarized that set up with the screws. I wish I had thought of it. I just read so many threads and took a little from each of them. There is some good shit out there concerning set ups. Either way brother I am glad that you are happy using it!

Awesome man, yea, i would do a research on soils, i have one clone that was in a soil mix before i switched to coco, noticed its the shortest one of all the others in flowering now haha. Its only 10 inches while the other 3 are 15inches average, one being 16 inches. still putting out a nice lil nug tho, but not lot of stem to fill up. Cost is everything, sometimes u gotta spend a few bucks on an item to get superior quality, and should have a return which could or will cover the expense. Coco in 50lt bags are about 20-25$ but you do have to provide nutrients. Quarts are the lowest size available for most nutrient lines, and are about 10-15$ per bottle for grow/flower/latebloom. But they last more than one cycle for sure and you will see the expense covered on the return. Just my advice to a future farmer of cannibus. Do a little research on it and see if you are up for it, as a beginner myself, it doesnt seem too much trouble, more of a hassle mixing, phing, and watering all the time, but u get a rythym and see how its all fitting together, how things work and what they do. But anyways, still excellent grow, awesome job, hope for the best and biggest nugs!

I hear ya hmk024. I kind of went against the grain using MG on this grow, but it is my first and it is a budget grow. I am capable of investing more in other types of soil. After extensive reading and actually talking to a few buds of mine that harvest small amounts each grow, (15-16 lbs) lol, they have nothing bad to say about MG. I think to get right down to it, its more of a Ford vs Chevy thing if you get my drift. These fellas have even gone as far as monitoring TC levels on their grows. One thing I have learned about MG is that you dont really have to worry about nutes. For the small grower with a budget could be an issue. The time i used nutes on this grow, and it was a very low dosage, I started to get some leaf burn.

I will definitely try other combinations as I continue to grow and pass along my observations to hopefully help someone else down the line. For me standing on convention isnt always the course. I do not think that there is totally oen standard of components for every grow. The variable are to extensive to make that even close to being possible. The easiest thing to do is follow the "If its not broken dont fix it" mentality. me, I like to try new things and will do so. For this grow if it is successful, then I can put that in the info vault and move on to other things.

I appreciate the interaction man and I would always hope that the channels of information sharing always stays open. You will never find my door closed to any possibility..lol.

Thanks for the well wished brother and you know I toss it back at ya and then some. Smoking the finest weed you can grow is something I hope to attain someday. Until then...
