Northern Lights Stank

Okay so I have heard Northern Lights, as well as, Blue Mystic are both "Stealth-Smelling" or they have very little odor. I recently bought 5 Fem Ak-48 and 5 Fem NL from Nirvana and was getting the grow set up. I will be in college in an apartment with my own walk in closet. The room is in a 4 room apartment that shares a common living space with 3 other people, all in separate rooms that have their own bathroom and bedroom. I will also (I know it's controversial but I don't want that debate on here) be growing with the UFO LEDs, in order to save money, and hopefully not throw up a red flag on the electric bill. I have decided to grow Northern Lights because I do love the high it gives me, and the non stink factor. I was looking for someone that has grown NL for a first-hand opinion of the stink and what will be effective for covering it up. I plan to grow 2 plants at a time.

im currently growing NL and it has very little to no smell.. and the little smell isnt very weed like... my blue mystic actually had my whole house smelling.. i think its just in what pheno you get..

Okay so do you think I could cover it up with a few ONA Gel Pads?

Don't know about blue mystic.
NL is amazing and requires no odour control while growing but the moment you cut it down it really reeks. You will need to consider odour control while drying or doing it elsewhere.

Okay thanks man. I think when I cut it down I can throw it into a backpack and take it to a friends place. But thanks a ton.

I have six Northern Lights all between 2 - 3 feet tall, although I used a lot of topping and LST so they are pretty large bushes. Maybe 3 - 4 feet wide each. No odor at all with flowers just starting to form (outdoor grow).

Im just using the little $1 gel air freshener.. not really needed but it helps right now with the short rider stink..lol still no smell from the NL and they are a couple weeks from finish
