You will never end up with anything with just that. Go to Lowes or Home Depot and

pay $6 for an 8 inch clamp light:

then pay $2 for a splitter:

Then a couple more bucks for two CFL bulbs. And you have an easy light setup for less than $15. Also, I would recommend a minimum of the 26watt, and if you want and you can find them the 6500k or 6000k bulbs (daylight) are better for vegging. If you get those, with one plant you will be fine for a while.

For an even cheaper reflector you can cut an aluminum can up and fit the light socket in that.

I have a clamp light already. However I removed the reflector so I could drop the light into my grow tub, along with another light.

For now(hopefully I'll make it to town tonight for higher watted bulbs) I have two 13watt each cfls on a couple seedlings inside a rubbermaid tote.

As for the one in the picture, it is only receiving light from the fluorescent light. And has actually picked up a bit from what it was under(150 watt incandescent).

I'm doing this on broke pockets as I really don't have the extra funds to throw at.:blsmoke:

would this suffice? I have enough room in the tote with the seedlings that this small of a reflector would work. however anything much bigger will not

could I glue/tape potato chip bags in my grow tote? Or would the white paint be better?
