I saw the thread currently posted but felt my questions were a lil off topic and didn't want to hijack it. I am looking for a good sativa strain or mostly sativa that can be grown indoors, flowers relatively quickly and at the max when done is a lil over 3 feet. Or perhaps would work good in a SOG with a grow box 2x2x4 although I am not really sure how complex a SOG is to do well. Willing to learn...well pester with many, many questions...

I sincerely appreciate the answers though..I am working towards doing what I need but it seems worth it progressing to learn. If what I have going actually works I am going to have more than I know what to do with but in the end I would just like enough to take care of my needs..

I agree with the C99.
Everyone should grow it at least once.
I grew Mosca version recently.
I liked the way it grew and flowered and the smoke was uplifting and tasted great.
I am actually re-vegging one of the phenos that came out great, so I can take a couple cuttings.
It didn't stretch much, but I use a four-top technique, and mild LST, so my plants divide the stretch energy and don't get as tall.
I would try a newer version if you are a new grower.
The Mosca beans are from an older cut and I struggled with germ rates and vigor.

A SOG is not difficult to manage, it is just more difficult in a confined space.
Running vegging and flowering plants simultaneously is trickier if done in the same cabinet.
Keeping out light leaks and controlling the environment requires more attention to detail in shared spaces.
Best to keep it simple if just starting out.
Run one room, one cycle at a time. Take your first grow through all the stages and then next run, you can start taking cuttings and learning about perpetuating your plants and managing two light cycles and varying stages.

I'm waiting on my order of C99 (went with female seeds). I'm fired up about growing this legend.

You wouldnt mind in time if I pick your brain on the sog details would you? I pretty much just plan to use this box as is for one cycle at a time. I have a bagseed indica a couple weeks into flower at the moment. I have a rubbermaid tub for anything vegging for the mean time.. Optimally I want to have a continuous cycle of sativas going a couple of plants at a time.
