Not far from drying...

Guys, im into week 11 now and in the next few weeks will be time to chop, normally i do a wet trim, then after several days i chop the branches and trim further, until dry.

But this time i want to take as long as possible to dry my plants, because i suspect drying too fast hasnt been the best idea, can anyone pls offer some good advice on how to get a really good dry ?

Its not like ive not done it a few times but i feel i need a refresher course, lol

Slow it down using a box to control the dry time..

Keep the humidity in the area at 60 - 65%. Either with a box like @Jypsy Dog suggests or if a large harvest just keep the room humid with a humidifier on a humidistat.

cheers guys i had a feeling this was the way to go, and i do have a humidifier so i can do this no problem, ill put some photos up the days before i chop to show you what they are looking like

Don't add moisture that's a silly idea. The buds are full of moisture already, let them use it. Enclose the area to control it. Boxes, bags, you know, things that enclose, but not airtight.

ill just dry them in the area i grow them in extractor fans on.

Humidity: In the first 3 days the relative humidity should be around 50%. After three days the relative humidity should rise to about 60%, again with the reason to slow down the drying process.

I changed how I dry as well I feel like hang drying in the open gave me a harsh smoke I switched to bag drying and it’s a lot better and takes awhile to dry and the smell is a lot more on par to the weed I smoked as a teen it’s really good you know the smell that gets your mouth watering. And it smokes and burns a lot better.

break down the plant leave it as a whole for 7 days in a cool well vented area after 7 trim then burb

im going to wet trim, cut branches off, and hang dry in my grow room, see how we go with it
