No don't use any nutes. The thing is burnt from the soil being too hot, and perhaps the PH of the soil is off. I would throw it out and start again. It should look that big 8 days in. Good luck man.

I'm using CFLs for this grow and have 3-23w 6500k and 1-23w 2700k.

the lights are about 4-5 inches from the plant. also the ph of the run off water seems to be within the range...

I'll try and give some nutes and give it another week... perhaps try a different soil for the next try..

I agree with others who think your soil is too hot.
With autos you only get one chance to get them through their short veg stage.
If they get too many nutes at this stage they can stunt.
Autos dont need as many nutes as reg plants and your pro mix soil has prolly
been made up for regulars.
You could maybe try to flush some of those nutes outa there, and see how she gets on.
But i dont think your poor ole plant will produce much now.
Its way behind its time schedule,it should be about a foot tall by now.
What is the NPK of your soil by the way?

The bag didn't have the NPK listed but it's ProMix Ultimate Organic Soil.

I guess I'm going to have to redo it all :(

Can someone recommend another soil for autos other than the fox farms brand?

How can you say that yellowing of leaves is "burnt." If the light is the issue then why would the bottom leaves and not the top leaves be affected.

And Bump for yellowkat's soil question.

PS: mfw I noticed Cpappa27's signature
