first time grower. i have a plant that's going into it's 6th week. about 20" tall. bag seed, appears to be indica. it looks healthy and happy. i'm using six two foot grow tubes over it. i've been looking around at pics of indica plants and they seem to be short and bushy. this one is growing more tall and tree like, i guess you could say. i put it on a 12/12 a week ago by the way. was just wondering if i'm doin something wrong cus she's, hope it's a she that is, leggy and not bushy or if it's lookin good. any info would be highly apreciated. i've included a pic to show her off.

Different strains grow different ways..some indica could be tall that too..nothin to worry about..if you want to make it shorter and bushier than you should top your plant

me and my girl are both just kinda sittin on the edge of our seat though waitin to see if it's male or female. it's got the starts of somethin in there but so small, hard to tell. fingers crossed. been happy with growth. have to move the lights up either each day or every other day. grow baby, grow.

yeah if you want them to be really bushy you gotta do some LST(low stress training) minipultes the main branch to allow light to hit the main stem resulting in the new growth moving up towards the light. you will get really bushy doing this and you can hey way more bud sites

well i can't afford the good ol' hps lights so i went with some grow flourecent tubes from home depot. figured it would be better than the others. i got six 2 footers. might up to ten for flowering. bending? yeah i'm new what exactly is that?

oh and i do keep the lights no more than two inches from the top. been having to move them every one or two days. about an inch to two inches everytime
