Here's a bit of advise my pops gave me.

If you think you know it all and are done moving forward with your learning, you become the person who is behind in the race.

My point is we all still have plenty to learn. There is nothing wrong with that at all.

Soak it up, become better than you already were then reap the rewards with the best weed you have ever personally grown.

Thanks for that and I will get better I think it's a good idea to check your self about the time you think you know I do it all the time working on cars for so many years of hiding my grows and not talking to people who doing the same thing found out that I was stuck in my ways so I can check myself thanks to people like your self

I went through similar. Im 50ish and been growing since I was 13 or so. Outdoor for a long time till some dumbass bought the cops a helicopter. Then i moved indoor. It was like starting over. Then took a growing hiatus for 10 years or so.... came back and there are LED lights now, 50 different ways to grow hydroponic, organic, living soil, super soil, nute brand x, nute brand y, fox farms soil, premix, and it was like I was 13 again growing trash in the shade with miracle grow. Killed more than 3 times what i smoked for first year the shit started turning around. I still aftern10 years fuck some shit up. Got a lockout in tent now I can't figure out....lol. you will feel better when you got a couple pounds in jars over 6 strains and your watching next crop come up. When you got a couple pound cushion then it aint that bad when you fuck one up.

I get what you are saying Jeff. A guy is cruising along, thinking he's got shit dialed in and then realizes there is a whole other level to climb.

I was like that with fishing. I thought I was quite knowledgeable but actually I only knew what Dad taught me plus the local lore/bullshit. When the internet came along I realized that I only knew a fraction of what I wanted to know. It was very cool, but also humbling.

I read a book you would like. (I am legend). Its the same book that piece of shit will Smith movie was based on but the book and movie are nothing alike. Its a great metaphor for getting old, and being set in your ways. Check it out.

we are all learning here.in the 6 years I've been growing I've made more than my share of mistakes but I've learned from them and became a better grower.their are a lot of people here who are happy to help you. your title reminded me of a T12 closet grow I did in 75. I really knew nothing back theni I didn't even know about light timming to veg or flower. I grew 12/12 from seed because I did not know any better. we have all been where your at.
