Not sure if genetics or a real problem

So this is my 2nd grow of these plants (Grand Daddy purple/ Jack herrera) and i always seem to get some amount of clawing. While i don't like to blame this sort of thing on genetics since i always like to critique myself if possible i'm starting to wonder if maybe this is the case. I have literally never had a problem with the amount of nutes i give (around 30% of the recommended doseage) and have never had these problems before. Sorry for the pictures being taken when lights are on i work while they are off so pictures are hard but u get the general idea

Soil: Ocean Forest
Plants are 15 days into 12/12 flower
Nutes i use are pure blend pro 1-4-5 and cal/mag along with fox farm soluble's (beasty and cha ching) which i haven't given these plants in particular yet if any other info is needed please ask and i will try to provide it

Very few leaves are currently affected by this but i like to get the jump on things so please if you see any problem's or any advice i'm all ears

all I see is yellow from the HPS being on......Repost pics after taking them with the HPS off. Whole plant pic will help too!

Me bets on too much P as you switched nutes to bloom to early.....Run veg nutes to week 3 and change to bloom starting week 3....not at the flip......
NPK ratio of 1-4-5 is kinda off, but not too bad......2-4-5 would be better....a little more N for a better bloom ratio.

the plants are green as can be i'm really only worried about this minor clawing, you think it is 2 much P? I've been thinking 2 much N since i've only ever read about that causing it. The pics posted were literally the only leaves that i could find that were clawed and i looked them over for a pretty long time. What do you think i should do if it is in fact 2 much P? Also 1-4-5 is the purebloom but the cal/mag i use is 1-0-0 not sure if that helps at all.

edit: also i have pretty much no burnt tips on my plants so i don't think its just generic nute burn

Not sure if i included this but i feed every other watering @ about 30% strength for the first few weeks (these are 2 weeks into flower like i said)

I see and understand now....you have no problem.....a minor "claw" like that is nothing to worry about...The new ratio with the Ca/Mg makes things wonderful....
They'll settle in and be fine.

Beasty and Cha Ching are for Mid and Late Stage flowering. You have nutes all mixed up.
Stick with manufactures recommendations and cut by 1/4 or 1/2 strength.

It could be several things....none of them matter as it's not an issue for your plant.....High N - it's not (you don't feed enough), Heat or humidity can express some tip drop or rise.....You have nothing to worry about....
Personally, I would not use the super high P bloom supplements....Maybe and I MEAN maybe....I would apply ONE of them at the 6th week once and put it away on the shelf. Continued/early use will cause P tox and cost yield.

when you say not an issue its not something i should worry about? i will say the humidity is definitely got some good range on it (35-40 lights on 50-60 lights off) I don't think its heat tho as it stays no more than 77 in the room at all times ( i would say 73-77). You think i should just keep feeding every other watering as i have (pure bloom and cal mag)? Sorry just trying to avoid this happening again

No, I would not worry about it....
If it was too much N,,,It would get worse on a bell-curve as you feed it.
Just to note - not that it is your cause - how hot is the canopy? Put your hand in at canopy level......feel hot?
How close is the light?
I suspect it's really not going to be an issue.....If it gets worse or the leaves begin to "cup" or roll up from the sides...then it's too hot.
I use an infrared heat gun to track my pot, mid plant and canopy temps.......I'm attempting something that a friend does all the time....Even after everything you know, something new pops up.....Just trying it out.
temps around pot = 60ish
mid plant = 75 or so
canopy = 90ish (from being in the lights radiant heat zone)

Interesting, I actually use the hand test @ canopy level to test but i usually try to do 21 inches from my light on all my 1k hoods and on my gavitas i do about 3-4 feet and i've never seen any burn

My canopy is usually about 78-82 i think

Could you link me the infared gun you use and do you think it is in fact worth it?

Here is the one. 16.00 bucks and free shipping.....I trust this brand....you want one that takes a 9v battery! Not a cheap 2 AA model!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nubee-Temperature-Gun-Non-contact-Infrared-Thermometer-w-Laser-Sight/131374054859?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid=222007&algo=SIC.MBE&ao=1&asc=31236&meid=288b279fac8e43439fddc5663492394f&pid=100005&rk=4&rkt=6&mehot=lo&sd=111538364991&rt=nc

Beyond a doubt, I find it priceless ...... I use it for making extracts mostly......But it has become a major player in the grow room!
