I had 2.5 o of trim and popcorn. Made coconut oil in a slow cooker then 1/4 cup into brownie mix. I have to eat 2 just to get a body buzz going. WHat could have went wrong so I dont duplicate in the future?

Thanks

Not enough detail on how you made the oil to really critique that part. I look for recipes that use 1/2 cup of oil and I also use coconut oil. I prefer to use my reclaim from my vaporizors to make the oil with so I get to enjoy it as many times as possible. My recipe is 1 cup extra virgin coconut oil and 1/2 cup of reclaim in crockpot with water for 6-8 hours. My oatmeal/peanut budder cookies are 50 cent sized and 1 kept my wife couchlocked for 4 hours, she is a light weight, but its good stuff and will keep me smiling for hours. The gift that keeps on giving.

5 cups water, medicine, coconut oil and 10 hrs in crock pot. Recipe I used called for 1/4 cup of oil in a ready mix brownie. Looks like time to up the anti.

I had the same problem until I got a tip on adding soy lecithin. That changed the game for me. I use roughly 15 grams of trim/ bottom stuff per cup of coconut oil and four or five tablespoons of soy lecithin. That'll put a smile on your face.

Your tolerance could also be very high -- I have friends who get almost nothing from 4 BIG brownies, whilst lightweights are hallucinating and projectile vomiting from just 1 or 2 (ummm....that would be me). Look for brownie recipes that use more oil.

Best of luck to you.

the main problem is you should always decarboxylate your weed before you cook with it. Decarboxylating is the process of converting THCA into THC. As many of you know raw mj contains THCA, which is then converted to THC when it is smoked. If you do not convert the THCA ahead of time then you rely on the cooking to heat up the THCA enough to convert it.

My decarboxylating technique is to put your material in an oven at 230 -250 degrees Fahrenheit, do not go over 260 as just over 280 you can start vaping the thc right out of the nugs. I usually leave mine in from 30 to 45 minutes, when you take it out you'll notice the weed is a little dryer. Just add it to the oil and your all set. Soy lecithin is a great emulsifier and i also use it when making all my edibles as well

I use Duncan Hines brownie mix. It calls for 3/4 cup of oil and 1/4 cup of water. I use a full cup of oil and cook until done at around 240F. When mixing the brownie mix I also throw in another 4-5 tablespoons of soy lecithin. Yeah, I know, I use soy while making the oil and again while mixing the brownies. My shit comes out pretty good though. Some people are scared of it.

Update. I made a second batch. I used half cup oil and 2 1/2 tbls soy lecithin. Had to eat two and very mild body buzz. Will look for the Duncan Hines I guess
