Note to self.........Do not try to wash snake off house with hose or it will piss him off and he will slither inside your bedroom wall. Yikes!!!

What the snake look like? Probly a chicken snake OH you moved SO no idea what it could be.
If you saw the head that would pretty much let you know if it was venomous.Those with a Diamond head are the ones that are real dangerous.

the police off said a rat snake. He could eat my kittens though! we got rattlers down here too!!

I'm so glad we don't get snakes like that. I can deal with little guys but I don't like any of them.

Rosey just run down to pet smart and buy a mongoose. Cut a hole in the wall throw it in and block it off :).

Yeah it doesn't look particularly 'pettable'. Though with my lack of experience with wild snakes I'd probably be like "Oh look, what a beautiful snake" instead of "Watch out! Snake!". If they are common, are they protected or do they come in size 8?

A quick search shows we only got 3 snakes across NL and Belgium. Only one of those, Vipera Berus (adder/ european viper) is poisonous which killed 3 people over the past 160 years.

They are a mean MF and aggresive as hell if provoked.So are Cottonmouths,Ive shot @ 1 and it kept a coming at the boat.Till I put down the 22 and grabbed the 12gauge! That cut his ass in half.
I pulled in a cove in my boat a few yrs ago and was smelling this god awful smell,I looked up and there was over 100 snakes "COTTONMOUTHS"doing there thang.I backed out real slow.The same lake had a water skier fall in a cove and landed in A SCHOOL of them he died before getting to the hospital!!

Sounds like you could have used a grenade that day at the lake take them all out.
