Some of you may be fooled by the thread title. This thread isn't devoted to your Cheese strain, but you can talk about it if you want.
Im a member of a non-marijuana forum that has a monthly thread where anyone can come in and talk about anything on their mind. You can brag about your plants, or lament on your screw-ups. Im surprised there wasn't already a thread here. Hopefully it'll take off.
Ill start off: I went to home depot today to pick up some mushroom compost because I wanted a cheap soil amendment. I was hesitant to buy it because it was stored outside and all the bags were wet and compacted, but I picked up the best bag I could.
Get home and wait till its dark so I can sneak it in. I cut the top open and get the most foulest chemical smell ever. Think of a mixture between petroleum/tar/ and an unknown number of chemical smells that would make you gag. It was horrible. This shit will be going straight back in the morning for a refund. I should have known better to buy it from them.
Ill be heading straight over to my local seed supply store to see if they carry mushroom compost. Ive no doubt it'll be better and cheaper.
I even wrote the producers of the product and gave them a mouthful. Not that it'll mean shit to em, but oh well.
