Lol, it's funny you guys mention this... I just split my Sour Flower this morning, too, at the second nodal junction on an 8 top. Wrapped and ready to go she is now.

I snapped off one of my branches when I was making a manifold. I decided to break the one off of the other side to even up the plant and make her a four headed monster!

man...you boys gots to be less abusive to those bitches!.....seriously, this is where the canopy rings shine.....i have split many, the best thing to wrap them with is a strip of ace bandage (the loose weave ones)....i have never lost a plant from it splitting......it barely phases them because so very little of the vascular cambium is injured......just wood.

Here's a pic of the little girl right now. I threw her in my greenhouse with my tomatoes, which I just bombed because of bugs. Lemme tell ya, there is nothing left in there now, lol. This is right after the transplant, before I started getting her branches all situated. 8 headed mainline, Sour Flower. She'll be 16 if she gets too big :)

I've split 2 so far myself. That's the strain. the branches get so thick so quickly that they don't like to bend. Then when I untie them, they straighten out a little. I taped them up and they healed just fine. Unfortunately it makes the grow lagg a little, heal time.

Those ones I topped right when they hit 8 inches. The girls I let grow over a foot then chopped in half, do not seem to have that problem.

Ive started 3 batches of 5 in each. I have learned from my mistakes along the way. I think I got it down. The 3rd batch is vegging faster too (same strains).

the ideal bandage will stretch with the expansion of the trunk....you do not want something that will cut off circulation....

Lots of times I've fixed broken limbs with what happens to be nearby....black electrical tape....looks tacky...but it works, Peace

you don't want anything permeable either, you have to seal the wound or disease can form there if its exposed to air

I grabbed the superthrive, a Qtip some wire tie a small piece of duct tape and hoped for the best. It worked and she is flowering looks like it will have 2 decent colas, 2 eh and a few little ones from side branching.

Had to go to the lab for this one! When do I take those nodes off the bottom to clone them? (never cloned before)

Do I top for 4 @ the same time that I take off the clones? I pretty much answered my question for me. But what do you guys do?!

hey bro, you may get a bunch more folks answering your main-lining questions if you post in the mainlining thread....plus you may want to re-read the mainling thread, cause lots of this is covered....:-P

Yea I'll do that. Sorry about that. I was thinking that my questions must be annoying as fuck. I'll lay off.
