Nute burn in flowering - what are the consequences? (also a Tiger Bloom gripe thread)

What happens when you're 2-3 weeks from harvest, and you get obvious Tiger Bloom -induced nute burn?

(this can also be a complaining thread about Tiger Bloom too, that stuff burns burns burns even at half strength.)

If the majority of fans leaves are okay, but only a few colas are affected (ie, the fan leaves protruding from the affected cola are all burned), will it slow or hurt flowering?

And what is your "safe dose" of Tiger Bloom?

And if you use TB with Big Bloom, does BB pose any burning hazard?

I had not used TB in a couple years and used it on some clones in their 4th week and burnt them up and allmost ended up with nute lock.I trashed that shit and wont use any FF nutes again..Pure blend pro is the only way to go

The reason I used TB was I had a little nitrogen defencie going on and TB has some nitrogen and stops leave yellowing during flower, not this time,it smoked my shit hard and Im just now getting ready to chop the 60 clones it burnt at about 75 days of flowering.Ive been flushing since my TB incident at week 4

Can one use something in conjunction with Big Bloom - something that is NOT Tiger Bloom? BB has a lot of good stuff, and alone, it I presume it's impossible to burn your babies. I just am NOT impressed with Tiger Bloom!!!

I used to use jamaican guano with big bloom with good results. The jamaican guano has enough nitrogen to keep them from yellowing late in flower and does a nice job keeping those buds healthy....peace.

your supposed to use tiger bloom in conjunction with big bloom, in my personal opinion they are to hard to hone in one. Try something like Advanced Nutes. But foxfarm grow big is GREAT stuff

i hear many love/hate stories with Tiger Bloom. Either you love it, or you hate it.

i have also been told that plant strains have varying sensitivities - one plant may love TB and can take up to 3 tsp/gal, another plant will cringe and burn even if you give it 1 tsp.

I agree with you, that nutrient isnt gud to use. and half of what the bottle says to use is still way to much

That is a FANTASTIC purple set of pants. FIVE? FIVE POUNDS? Was that wet or dry weight? And did you use something like SCROG?

They are supposed to become nitrogen deficient during late flowering. Unless its so bad that all of your new leaves poking out of the buds are yellow, then you should have just left it.

Tryed my first dose of Tiger bloom when i put into 12/12 along with big bloom and it really fucked my plants up. they have been trying to recover ever since. I was about half stength too or maybe a little less i think its safe to say next go around i wont use Tiger bloom anymore but i really like big bloom
