Nute Burn on seedlings/clones

I have a starter tray that's about 10 each of seedlings from seed and clones from some very robust girls in the veg room, about 2 weeks old. They're in GroDan 1" starter cubes; I've been hand-watering them with distilled water and they were doing fine. 12 hours ago, I mixed up a 1 gallon batch of nutrients per GH's recipe for seedlings: 1/4 tsp each of GH Grow, Bloom and Micro and 1 tsp of AquaShield into a gallon of distilled water, ph'd it to 5.6, and poured it into a 10X20 tray. Then I dropped the seedling tray into it for a minute to soak, and moved the seedling tray back to a dry tray. Classic newbie mistake:roll:. There's some serious nute burn showing up this morning. The question is, how can I flush my babies? I want to run distilled water through them as quickly as I can to wash out the nutes, but since the rockwool is already saturated, I'm afraid that just dunking won't do much. So, how do I get the distilled water to push the nute water out of the starter cubes? Thanks, y'all!

If it were me an I wanted to save my babies--I would put under faucet an flush to keep from losing them. I went through all the diff products--nute burn & all the basic problems until I found Humate Supreme & Humate Supreme Tea. Below is a post of my babies I made a couple days ago.
I just watered with HS tea when seedlings & when 4/5 weeks old I added 1 HS tab to each girl & watered with the tea & 1 more tablet when I put on 12/12. Never had a prob of any kind. Maybe this help you in the future.

Here are some pics of my WW girls I put on 12/12 yesterday after 7 wks VEG. Only thing I used on them was 1 Humate Supreme tablet (all organic) each plant & watered with Humate Tea. I gave them another HS tab yesterday--hope works as well as first 7 weeks.

never feed seedlings or cuttings!

all you can do is run ph'd water through top of cubes and try to rinse/flush nutrient out the cubes, and by pouring from the top, and draining them/dicard all run-off (don't leave anything in tray)...but likely you have already stressed/shocked them with the nutes. :( hope they pull through for you.

you can always watch the video's that I have posted in thread, link in my signature, which should help you to avoid potentially harming your plants, or any other topics you may be interested in learning ;) peace

Yep, it was way too soon to start feeding the girls, lesson learned. I've been pouring distilled water through the cubes as you suggested, and the burn seems to have stopped progressing. The outer 1/3 of the leaves is burned, but they're hanging in there. Thanks for the info!

i made this same mistake used 1/4 teaspoon of aurora innovation "buddha grow" in a 1 gallon container of tap water, i was just trying to level out the ph to be honest without using vinegar...i am stupid and did not get ph up and down but instead bought a digital ph meter.. so the ph was 6.0 with the nutrients and 7.8 without. since then i have just watered the plants 1 or 2 times and they still have the white spotsIMAG0241.jpgIMAG0237.jpg
