I am having this problem with all my plants. I am growing with cfl's, 1 fan circulating air, a bottle filled with water, yeast and suger. I am using 1 tsp of molasseses per liter with a 4-0-2 liquid nute to start with. Going to moove on to a 7-1-4

All my plants are having the same burning like yellow around the tips of there leaves. If it from the lights as they are within 2 inches of the plant of from over nutes. Before I got the 4-0-2 I was using 5-5-5 stuff.

I about 4 weeks in I think mabey 5. I am thinking of flowering as soon as possible. Mabey in 3 weeks.

CFL'S Detail:

soft white
3x 24 watt
1x 18 watt
all using can reflectors

going to add a 125 watt 2700k cfl for flowering.

I would back off the nutes and flush em for a few waterings. Leaf curl (under) usually means too high of levels of nutrients for too long. (toxicity) Could also be a pH problem....but I'd exhaust the nutes first and see if she comes around. (new growth should lookk AOK..old growth will not recover from the damage)

Is that straight coco yer using for a medium? Some perlite with yer next transplant will help the roots go off....and you'll have a healthier plant overall.

3 weeks is a good guess for going 12/12. Don't want it too large with the lights you have...and don't want it too small or you'll lose some yield.

slow and steady...slow and steady. Such an approach will give you a better yield than stressing them with nutes will.

good luck

The medium is a potting compost made for indoor use. It is peat based. I have to raise the ph, i used indicator paper to test the ph and it came out at about 5. Any way of doing this with ordinary household products, how about potash(homemade)?

I have a bit of a predicament. I am going away in about 4 wks for 13 days. Should I start flowering in about a week or 2 and hope any males appear before I go or should I put of flowering all together until I come back?

You can see one of my plants above, the rest are all slightly smaller.

I have heard that molasseses can be used all the way through. It has a whole lot of minerals that would benefit the plant the whole way through.

I have stopped using all nutes now for a while ad started flushing with water.
