nute or not to nute!!! that is the question

Hello all, I would like to ask you guys for your opinion on my delima. i planted 6 low ryder auto flower in a stealth hydro setup i bought with 3 40 watt cfl's running 24-0 with intake/exhaust fans and micro carbon filter. I never germinated the seeds just planted them directly into the medium. the next day one had already sprouted! since then it has been growing massssssssssssssively fast (in my opinion) and the 5 other seeds have to sprout. it has been about 10 days since the seeds were planted. my dilema is the one plant is getting big enough for nutes and is looking pretty hungry. should i wait it out a couple more days or start it slowly on nutes and hopefully this wont affect the seeds if they still plan on sprouting???? thanks guy +rep

To be honest first your lighting sucks for 6 plants for the one that would be ok, but not great (I hope you're using daylight marked cfl's they have a wider blue spectrum) This is me starting from scratch I'd always pre germinate the seeds for 2-4 days in a damp papertowel then cover it up in complete darkness until they crack and you get your root base. I'm guessing you have the 5 gal resrvoir box and 6 of the 4 inch cups in your stealth hydro system (they mostly use bubble/aeroponic/deep culture systems) First thing when your seeds have sprouted I'd use a 2" rockwool cube soak it in a bucket with filtered rain or distilled water with some general organics bioroot 1-1-1 at a ph of 5.8 put some prewashed hydroton a 1/3 of the way in each cup then place hydroton around remainder of cups. What I would for the first week I'd start out with General Hydroponics flora nova one part grow 7-4-10 plant food about 300-350 ppm (be sure you have a tds meter) I'd also put a small piece of cotton rope at the bottom of your rockwool cube to use as a wick for an osmosis system to get enough moisture to your cube. Be sure to check ph and tds daily as plants eat certain nutes ph can go up or down (if you need help to determine which let me know) I'd also advise you to look into zho as a rhizosphere root inoculant once you start out right or on next grow. It helps to strengthen and make root system more immune to disease, fungus, rot and triples root acceleration in my opinion. When you have foliage 2 0r 3 rows of leaves raise your ppm to about 700 (about 3rd week) Look into some General organics Cal/mag (calcium/magnesium) some botanicare sweet they have 3 flavors and they add essential aminos, sugars and carbs which are good in vegetative and essential for flowering. Intorduce these very minimally at first to your reservoir and wait 3-4 days while you observe plants to adjust. check out atlantishydroponics.com if you order from them contact Chattanooga location directly (423) 752-5400 and tell my good friend Scott that Dr. Edward M sent you and You'll get a 5-10% discount they have great prices and are very knowledgeable. Be on the level they are legit you are growing special tomatoes ok they know what you mean and will give you best advice/help possible. They sell a sun system hps 150 wt ballast and hood all in one for $90 this will add enough lumens for your grow with the cfl's plus for flowering you'll need the hps and you would have to switch to cool white 42 watt cfl 150 wt equivalent if you still wanted to use them. Low riders are awesome next time try mixed with ak strain it will rock your world. Good luck The Doc
