Like the title says. How long after feeding would any nute burn show up in soil?

roots organic...fox farm OF..sunshine mix #4..I hit em with 600 ppm of flouranova general hydroponic hutes. They are in their third week of vegging and this was the first feeding of any nutes. Should be ok wouldnt you think? Just wanted to see what people think about the ppm I started with....

Thank You all for looking :hump:

600 PPM is a little high for their first feeding, but not excessively so. Plus, they look nice and healthy, so should be able to handle it. Wait about 3 days or so, and if they look okay, they should be fine. The leaf tips will start burning first, if your borderline overfert.

Yeah, I agree that the PPM sounds a little high, but if things are looking good, you're probably fine.

Soil works to buffer nutes, so you might not see any nute troubles for a few days after you add them. Yes on the leaf tips burning first, so that's what you need to look for.

I'm sure you're probably fine, but then again, plants are tricky like that so you might not see anything for a while and then things will suddenly take a turn.

Go light on your nutes first when you are feeding plants. You can always add more, but dealing with burn is much harder - especially in soil.

Good luck!

Hey thanks....both of you for helping me. I think I feel a little better now. This is my first grow on my pain management scription so Im really green...pun intended..hehe. I have 10 different strains for my first grow. I met someone here on rollitup that was nice enough to help me with some clones. Wont mention any monicer names as I dont know if he wants it known. Sure was a nice young man though. He started me out with
Sour Diesel,
Purple Urkle,
Sheba,
Blueberry
Strawberry cough
Blue Cheeze
White Widow
Snow Dawg
Mendo Purp
Super Silver Haze

One more but I dont remember the name at the moment.....pretty freakin sweet huh. He also helped me choose soil and awnsered all my questions about my room assembly.

Heres a few more pics of my setup

The hardest part is going to be which ones to keep as I am allowed 15 plants so I cant make clones of them all......even though I am in love with them all already..:weed: Grasshopper

Ive heard that at the first sign of chemical burns you should flush the soil out is this good info or some bs.

Yes i agree, if you see some nute burn or black leave tips or edges try to flush right away. And remember, it takes a little while for problems to show up. If you see something wrong with your plant, it could have been something you did a week ago. So flush and wait a few days to see if it stabilizes.
