I have been using nutes everytime I water my plants. The nutrients are already added to 1G of water. But what if I wanted to also water with molasses? Could I mix molasses and nutrients into 1G of water and feed my plants?

Feeding molasses during the last 6 weeks is proven to increase nug size by 20 %! buy organic unsulphured blackstrap molasses and add 1 teaspoon per gallon and if your going to do it with your nutes i would go a litttle bit less on the molasses.

One TB per gallon of water has worked well for me, starting @ week 3-4 of 12/12.

A light nute feeder, I use it all the way out.

It's one tablespoon per gal. of water and yes you can mix in with your nutes.I would'nt use molasses only theres not enough nutrients by itself just mix with a quality nutrient and use all the way to harvest.Little secret thats what most of the bloom boosters you buy are.anyway this works for me...good luck with your grow.

I think molasses made my last grow worse. I dont use it now its better.

Where is this proof of 20% more?

^^^where is the proof that it did mess it up??
there are so many variables
You are correct, there is no proof, no side by side. Nothing scientific. I was just saying that I read this article about how great sugar in the root zone was and how great molasses was, so I tried it, my harvest was not better, my guess is I was feeding the pathogens in the root zone and that hurt my harvest.

I do not see any proof on either side of this, just a lot of people like me how tried and got 20% more or 20% less. So my info can be used as a small piece of data in a much bigger issue.

If I could see proof that it helped I might try again.

The grow that I have going now is the first time that I've ever used molasses and I can say that I've noticed a difference in the density of my buds. In the past the buds grew taller at this point and didn't fill out the stems as much. I've been growing this strain for about 2 years.

While using the molasses this time my buds are a lot thicker and the main colas are filling out nicer. The buds are having a really nice "pear" shape to them.

It has convinced me enough to continue using it for future flowering.

for the guy who had a problem with the molasses did you use blackstrap or some other kind of molasses and was it unsulphered or sulphered

Heres a question I don't think anyone asked. Can you use molasses to keep production healthy even in the last/flushing phase of flowering?

I would think the carbs would keep the plant vigorous yet not add any negative taste to the final product. I am going to try this myself as I have one 2 weeks into flowering...will start w 1 tsp per gal.

So if I am aleady using Groteks Monster Bloom as an additive with my regular nutes should I bother incorporating molasses into the picture?
