Good day everyone this is my first post here as a new member and first time indoor tent grower. I have grow outdoors for 3 years and only used top notch organic soil, seasol and epsom salts as feeds i would give plants when needed but as you know its a totally different ball game indoors. I have a few questions I'd like some actual experienced answers on and not I'd do this or that yada yada yada as I've been getting that of mates and its just guessing which isn't help (sorry if I'm coming across blunt) . I will post up pics of my plant tmrw when get a new digi cam but anyways she started under 140w 6400k cfls for germination and 2 weeks growth before switching to a 600w cooltube running hps with the cfls now used as side lighting where the hps can't penetrate. She showed sex at 4 weeks, pre flower by week 5 and now at week 6 although only 15 inches tall she's bushy as fk and looking like I should switch to bloom nutes. If not how long should i still use veg nutes, house&garden soil a&b, before switching over.
All help input and pos feedback are very appreciated. :hump:

thanks people.

I usually continue to give veg nutes until a week or so after the stretch stops, just like outdoors.
The same principles and theories apply, but your conditions are more controlled, referring to temps, light schedule, and pest control.

cheers bakatare666 I will keep that in mind.
I thought I didn't have any pics but had some on iPad from 2 days ago I forgot so here she is. They are taken without the hps running as pics get them lines across screen with it on.

I will post up more pics later but the pics were taken with the cfl sidelights on and are 2 days old so plant is a tiny bit bigger today but still pretty much what you see. The strain is Aussie red beard and has flower sites like these all over plant. Sorry if quality isn't good it's an ipad2.

2 things I noticed man.
That/ those look kinda droopy, and I don't see any perlite in your mix.
Are they possibly overwatered or constantly damp?
Maybe even crowded roots?
How old/ long in that container?
Cannabis likes to dry out between waterings, and the soil breathes better with something mixed in to break it up a little.
Next question, was do you have more than one plant in that pot?
If you do, it's too late now, but not a good idea to put more than one plant per pot, in case of bugs, fungus, temp, overfeeding, or root crowding.;-)

Thanks bakatare666.

Yeh the day those pics were taken I got home at 6am from a wedding the previous day and from what I can gather is that around midnight somewhere the ex fan 440cfm let go and died so for 6ish hours they had no extraction of air and was very stale. The plants had just been drowned n flushed the previous cycle so they were still looking overwatered as they do this for a day n a bit after a good flushing but always perk back. I have no problems with mites n stuff only blooming gnats from the expensive good soil I got. It did have perlite in the mix on bag but I threw it out and can't recall how much. The container is about 6 months old just had 1 jalapeño bush in it before but was heat washed out and dried,it's a 25ltr pot and was transplanted into that about a week ago. The only problem I have in my tent 1.2x1.2x2mtr is that it's drying out to around 25% on hygrometer but temp stays nice at around 26-27 degrees. I have tried wet towels, containers of water etc etc to bump humidity up but only gets up a extra 2% unless I fine spray the walls down every hour then it gets up a extra 15% but that's only seldomly done so I'm stuck with a average of 25-30% humidity but I know I must hit at least 55% but can't get there so just spray plant whenever I can.

Hope that helps :-)

Try hanging a wet dish cloth or hand towel in front of your fan to raise RH.
I've had to do this more than once, and usually when the RH gets down that low, I have to re- wet it at least every hour.
I like to mix additional 30-40% perlite to my soil myself, and I water until I have good runoff, then if over dry and drooping, they will perk up within an hour or so, but even sitting out in the rain for a few days, they will still breathe enough that they don't look "overwatered".

Hmm ok so maybe I have a problem there then?
Should I add some more perlite to "air" out my soil to help or knock back my waterings as sometimes I can stick my finger 2 inches into soil and it will be dry but i have holes further half way - 3 qtr way down the pot and to my finger still feels a lil dampish so maybe leave until bone dry.
If it comes to wetting more towels etc and hanging em up I will try that approach again.

Thanks for your advice mate.

No prob man, that's what the forum is for.
I wouldn't pull your plants just to add perlite, but when you pot up, try to gently knock off as much loose soil as you can.
I'm not recommending this, but when I pot, I take a kitchen knife, and score a cross on the bottom, usually about 1/3 to 1/2 way up, then take the 4 flaps and spread them over a mound of fresh soil in the middle of the new pot.(like a reverse pyramid).
I've done this with all my plants, since I was a kid, not just these plants.
