I have a 17" x 14" x 15" grow box with three 26w CFL's. I will be using LST and soil. I can easily purchase both fox farm and general hydroponics supplies locally. I was unsure if one brand was preferred to the other? What type of fertilizer should I get, liquid or water soluble? Also what different fertilizers do I need to get for the basic stages of growth? Finally, what type of soil should I use? potting soil? Or should I purchase the fox farm ocean forrest? The plants will be grown from seed with 12/12 lighting from day one. Thank you for your time.

I would pick fox farm over general hydroponics. The big bloom is a great product and the big grow and tiger bloom work although if you use new ffof for each run the big grow, for vegging, isnt really necessary and you can get by with the big bloom and tiger bloom in the flowering stage. just use 1/4 strength, at most, of the recommendation on the bottle. Do not bother with their heavy metal powders as they are way too strong. If you can get black gold organic I would go with that or something less hot and organic but I would buy the ffof over miracle grow any day. Follow the labels instructions just cut back on the amounts. less is better. and tweek it as you feel is best and see what your plants like. flush with water the last two weeks. good luck and happy farming!

I'm not entirely sure on what you recommend. Are you saying use black gold organic (or ffof if not available) soil from the beginning and then use big bloom and tiger bloom during flowering? At what point should I start adding big bloom and tiger bloom? Like I said, I will be using seeds and starting at 12/12 from day one. Also, should I use 1/4 strength all the way through, or slowly build up? I appreciate the help!
