Nutes

This is my first grow. Its bag seed. Its in a closet with white walls with two 23 watt 6500k CFLS and one 20 watt 2700k CFL on 24 hrs. In earth gro potting soil. Been watering every 4 or 5 days but it is possible i gave too much water when watering.

I planted them and it was growing good for about a week aside from some stretching that i fixed by moving the lites closer. The first set of tru leaves grew fine then then about 3 days ago i was a little too drunk and handled it too rough and almost broke the stem in half but it still stands up straight but i added more soil to just right above where it broke then the leaves started curling down and first turned pale green and now they are getting closer to yellow but not dead.

More new leaves are still coming in but slower than before I been reading alot and i saw not to give it nutes yet but according to my research its yellowing and stuff because it needs nitrogen.

I wont have any cash to buy anything until monday and i plan to order some Dyna-Gro 7-9-5 Liquid Grow Plant Food Fertilizer for veg and Dyna-Gro Liquid Bloom Plant Food Fertilizer 3-12-6 for flower. but it will take a week or so to get here if i order monday.

Soooooo my question is can i just get some cheap Miracle-Gro® Liquid Houseplant Food 8-7-6 just to feed it until the dyna gro stuff gets here so it wont die or will they be ok for another week or so or is there something else i can do to keep them alive?

Borrowed my friends camera and here are 2 pics of how it looks now.

Yea u can use it at very small doses I would start at 1/8 but 1?4 is gud to start also miracle grow is strong...you may ned to flush when you introduce new nutrients

I don't think hitting it with nutes is going to make her grow faster, you plant got hurt and now it is putting energy into fixing what you fucked up! I would stick with just water for a week or so, and see if she bounces back. After that start her on nutes.

Thanx for the replies.

I dont necessarily need it to grow faster i just want to know if it can be saved and stay alive until i can get the dyna gro stuff.

The MG stuff says use 10 to 20 drops per quart so i will try to just use 2 drops at first and see if it perks back up.

Miracle grow will prob be fine initially. I've never used it but from research I hear MG seems to do awesome in the beginnings of growth, but ppl run into problems later. I'm guessing it's an issue of maybe the MG balance of nutes is not appropriate for MH, or maybe ppl just get carried away and over do it. My wife grows tomatoes with MG and swears by it, and she keeps trying to talk me into letting her feed one of my girls with it. Would be awesome if it works, could save 100s amo th on nutes.

Well it was just bag seed so i gave up. I have been growing the seedling 4 weeks.

I started this adventure with pieced together info from multiple google searches then i found RIU then After much reading i realized i made way too many noob mistakes. Im just gonna start all over and not be so hasty with things.

When i pulled it out of the soil the root was about 7 inches long and straight, not a big bunch of roots. I think this was due to planting the germinated seed directly into my final pot which was 4 gallons filled up to about 3 inches from the top.

Next time im gonna use peat pots until the roots grow out of the pots then put into my final.

Thanx for all the comments and suggestions.
