I can only afford one bottle of nutes, around $25 dollars....what would anyone recommend.....by nutes for veg....or for flower?? gona buy only for one....any homemade fertilizers for veg?

I would recommend dyna gro grow. It can be used for flowering and veg. It runs around $15-20 a quart or 50 for a gallon.

Haven't used much for nutes from other brands, so I can't really compare them to Dyna-Gro, or AN or any other brand.

Just noticed that I sent you the link for the Hydro kit. They also make the same kit for soil.

If you can deal with the smell Alfalfa Tea is great...

32 Gallon Trash can filled with water

Add 10 cups Alfalfa Pellets

Stir daily

Day 3 Add 1 cup Epsom Salts and 1 cup Alaskan Fish Fertilizer

Keep Stirring

Ready to use on day 5. One pint tea to 1 gallon of water. Do NOT put it on your plants full strength !!!

I use this mixture to water my plants.. They love it.


As you can see this is a very cheap tea to make. But it smells like HORSE SHIT !!!

Are you talkin alfalfa pellets like we feed to calves?

He is. You can use pellets or cubes but get the ones without additives that are for livestock.

The pellets I get from the feed store say 'horse supplement' on them. 50 lbs for $15..

I'm gonna have to try it out. I have a bottle of Neptune Farms fish fertilizer, and i believe there are some alfalfa pellets around also.
