ONLY 1000 PPM? And yes, it is nute burn.Is this nutrient burn at only 1000 ppm?
Which meter are you using? Different companies use different conversion factors, U.S vs EuropeIs this nutrient burn at only 1000 ppm?
A cheapo. LolWhich meter are you using? Different companies use different conversion factors, U.S vs Europe
That's the 0.5 scale, so your PPMs aren't lower than they might be (if it had been the 0.7 scale, for example).A cheapo. Lol
Hanna is typically 0.5, but they do other scales too. So, it's confusing when people refer to the "hanna scale" (0.5).I have a Hannah and I think that it has the .7 conversion???
I almost took a pic of my PH meter, it is covered in dust! You are probably right. Notice I used a lot of??? I just wanted to bring up the topic reallyHanna is typically 0.5, but they do other scales too. So, it's confusing when people refer to the "hanna scale" (0.5).
The meter he pictured is HM and it is, without a doubt, 0.5 scale.
Guess i dont understand...shouldnt 1000ppm be 1000ppm?That's the 0.5 scale, so your PPMs aren't lower than they might be (if it had been the 0.7 scale, for example).
I think 1000ppm is pretty high.
You can check your calibration by putting 1g table salt in 1 liter of distilled water. That produces 1000ppm.
I don't understand it either. But, there are 3 scales (plus EC). See this chart. If you were using the other scales, then 1000ppm might be like 700ppm (the more common?) scale.Guess i dont understand...shouldnt 1000ppm be 1000ppm?
I use either the 3 part gh following the scheduled on the floraSeries Performance pack (only for the 3 part not the additives) with 3ml per gallon of armorSi or the maxiBloom dry at 5g per gallon with 3ml per gallon of the micro from the 3 part and 3ml per gallon of the armorSi in a 32 gallon res with the flow and grow setup using only 6 of the 2 or 2.5 gallon (cant remember) potsI don't understand it either. But, you're definitely the 0.5 "Hanna scale." (But, don't forget, Hanna makes meters using the other scales. So, never assume a Hanna meter is "the Hanna scale."). We'll all laugh about this some day.
I fed 1000-1200 in late flower using GH Flora 3 part. That's the highest I've ever done. I typically feed 500-700 (counting the 150ppm in the tap water). So, it's hard to know if you're overfeeding. I guess it depends on the nutes, how they're formulated.
