So my 3 and half week old pla is showing signs of nutrient deficiancy. Yellowing at the tips of leaves, im thinking she needa magnesium. I'm using a 5in pot with mirical grow moisture control. I can't really upgrade the pot because it is in a PC case. So I was going to slowely start feeding it nutrients. I was looking at fox farms products big bloom and tiger bloom a superdrive. i can get 4oz of each on eba for 30$. Say if I water 4 times a week 3 out of the 4 i mix 1/2 teasoon of each nutrient. Will thes nutes save my grow. Are they going to provide magnesium? Thanks

Id say without seeing pictures, you really shouldn't give nutrients the first 4 weeks of plant life. Since you are using MG soil which is known to be "hot" or laden with nutrients you most definitely need to postpone feeding. Since your plant isnt that big, and Im only speculating here from what you mentioned about giving it food in the first month of life, and it already showing signs toxic salt build up. Take it out of the pot, break up the root ball a bit. Put more "untainted" soil from the bag into the pot. Make sure you pH the water to the proper level 6.4-6.8. Go to Lowes or a hydroponic store and buy some Dolomite or Pulverized Lime. Add 1 tbls. per gallon of soil to the top and cultivate it in. Flush your container every 3-4 weeks just to be safe.

I'm about to post some pics. I flushed all 3 potz 3 times each with a Poland springs bottle with tap water. I had a problem last week, the new sets of leaves that grew, one o. The right grew out fine put the left one would widdle o er and turn black and die.the next few days the plant grew on an anngle so i just decided to cut off the odd leaf.
Th i topped the plan. I ordered some fox farm . I got four ounces for each bottle. That should be in this week. Simone told me today to add coffee grinds to my soil. Would this help or cause It to be to acidi

I'm waiting for my fox farm trio to come in the mail this week. I think the bottom two leaves are going to die off on the 4week old mazar and the bottom leaves on my lowryder 2 are starting to yellow. i was watering with Poland springs water. Ph of the water is supposed to be 5.8 to 6. I mixed the top layer of soil with spent coffe Beans to help give nitrogen until the fox farm trio gets here. U guys think this will clear up the problem. I was gong to prune the roots this week should i.

The plants have been on 24hrs of light there whole life

I topped the mazar 3 days ago. Temps are around 65 up to 8. Usually 75 degrees to 30% humidity. I k ow the humidity needs to be brought up. How can I do this?

MG has time release nutes. They should last about 2 months so Very easy on adding more. I know I fried my first plant.

they're advanced stage of growth is masked by the fact that they are stunted by low lighting. they are eating themselves because they should have been in mildly fertilized soil a week ago. their root structure is likely quite poor because of the lighting, so even though they are in large pots they are probably not reaching all of the nutrients that are available

i like neutral soils for young plants, and lots of perlite. those were over-watered and probably drained poorly also. those look fucked. start over, imo.

First signs of female preflowers are showing on the lowryder. 2 clear hairs growing behind the nodes on the upper branches

I agree with the above statements about drainage, the soil looks too dense and wet.
Miracle grow is garbage for indoor potted plants.

I took everybodys advice and got some real organic soil. Fox farm ocean forest and some new clay pots. The plant looks happy after 2 days in the new soil. Jim hearing that it may to hot of a soil but there responding well. The mazar is picking up. 2 tops growing out and it looks like 2 more forming underneath. the leaves are picking up and up branching out. o and the lowryder is starting to BUD. well i think theres clear hairs. I'll post some picks
