Nutrient Mix Ques. + REP 4 Answers!!!!

Hey guys, I have a question for anyone using Fox Farm nutrients. They are fairly cheap, and they sell the two trio packs with the feeding schedule. I plan on purchasing them and using them but I have a question.

If I purchase 1 gallon jugs to mix the nutes in, am I able to combine the nutes in the single 1 gallon jug? For instance, based on the feeding schedule, week 2 says to use Grow Big(2tsp per gallon) and Big Bloom(2tbl per gallon). Am I able to mix the 2 tsp of grow big in the gallon of water then add the 2 tbl of Big Bloom to the same jug? Or do I need to purchase separate jugs for each nute?

ALSO how long am I able to store the nutes in the jugs with water? Is there a set time limit before they begin to degrade in the water or become ineffective?

personally i use different jugs for grow and bloom, but as long as you rinse it out it should be just fine, for your second question i've heard many people say "use it within an hour" which makes no sence to me, as its gonna be sitting in my resuvare (sp) for two weeks while its doin its thing... right? so yea, ive always got a gallon or two mixed although i do leave it in a dark cool cupboard.

I mixed my Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom, Beastie Bloomz akll in the same 1 gal. jug when I fed during flowering. I wouldn't reccomend giving the plant Big Bloom during Vege cause it is not taking in as much as the nurtients cause it is veging instead of it's reccomended flowering use. :leaf:

+ Rep to both of you for the fast feedback! I appreciate it! so essentially you've guys had no real problem with mixing more than 1 nute in the same container and storing it for a week or two? I'm ordering the nutes and jugs soon

When I went to the hydro store they told me to use the grow big seperately from the tiger bloom/big bloom. At least for veg anyway, they said to use the gb, then during flowering switch to the tiger and you can mix the bb with that. Hope that helps man. You can look at my grow journal to see the results of doing it this way. I'm pretty happy with the results and I think there's like a month left in flowering. If you want to say thanks in any way, just leave a comment on my gj!

If you want to be precise I would always use different containers for different nutes. Its no problem spreading out the water between jugs and lets you fine tune a bit better.
