Nutrient Regiment

I don't have any measuring tape at the moment but my best guess is 4X4X8. I'll be putting 24 plants in the grow area, they'll all be clones jammed straight into bloom. A buddy is telling me to use 4 70w HPS because they can focus the light better and the Lux add up, he's speaking greek to me but his logic seems sound

yu would prob do better with two 400 watt hps..
high tech garden supply, htg, sells there 400's cheaper than anywere ive seen, complete and owned several for years..they work great.
only draw1.8 amps each..so lower on the power draw easy to cool..
your going to need a 6" blower for exhaust and prob a 4" for intake..
thats really the main focus of the grow right now, is getting the area setup and worked out, otherwise no plantz can grow good in it.

I'm renting, I can't do anything about exhaust or intake, no holes can be drilled and it's in my closet. I have a fan at the door but that's about it.

then you cant build a grow room..period..
honestly your best option is to then buy a grow tent with holes preset for you.
i liked my last one. it was a 6.5 x 6.5 40 sq foot space..
they actually do pretty great. i like the alum /silver lined ones..the white plastic lined ones offgass..
something about that plastic heating up..

set it close to window..exhaust / carbon filter for odor, then right out that window.
your intake will be the cool air from your places a/c unit that you live with every day.
temps have to be 76 to around 85 degrees..lower the better..
with the lighting heating up, you have to exhaust and intake any grow..its a no work around, must have.

I have a fan set into the door frame and I'll be running two 150watt HPS lights, I should be able to keep it cool enough, if not I'll can find a way to either add more fans or something. I can manage the heat fine.
