nutrient sample packs?

hey RIU!
i saw someone post something about companies sending free sample packs to people. now what im wondering if any of you knew of any websites like that? id love to have a collection of different ferts! i have a hutch dedicated to my plant stuff and am always looking for new stuff to add to it.
all posts are appreciated

oh and they have to be able to ship to canada.
preferably none from the united states.

I have just been sending emails to various suppliers.

I get many coupons for regular stuff like drinks etc by simply calling or sending an email.

I paid 10.00 for a bottle of Cal-Mag on ebay and recently found out someone got it as a free sample then sold it.. What a load of c!@p man!

Anyway, here is the standard email I've been sending out to the various nutrient manufacturing sites. I am actually in the market for a good supply and the actual request is true. Just visit various nute manufacture sites and view the contact page to get the email address. Sign up for a free gmail account if you want to keep it separate from your personal email and create a simple template email message and save it to a notepad text file then send it to all of the manufactures.

"Hello, I am currently growing tomatoes, various peppers, cucumbers and squash in several indoor deep water culture hydroponic tanks.

I have been using "insert competitor" nutrients but the cost is becoming prohibitive and I am looking for a new, comparable product to use long-term.


I would like to know if it is possible to obtain a small sample of your hydroponic solutions for vegetation and bloom.

i think this is what i will do i have sent a couple emails similar to yours but that was on facebook. i will go to their sites and email them this time though!

There are several youtube videos. I'm new to growing so I didn't know most of the companies by name. I got the names from some of the videos and searching the forums.

Advanced nutrients has a site you can apply, but they only send 500/month. they reach capacity fast.
As for getting free stuff, i've just begun asking companies for samples and what not, so far i've scored-Secret Jardin-DR150w(half price), free 4 ft t5ho, free 1L xxxtractor bags (bubblehash) and 15% discounts almost everwhere I shop online. All you need to do is ask lol. No harm.
