Was seeing what ppl are running for nutrients. Getting ready to set up a rdwc waterfall system. Been using fox farm. Looking at house and garden or general hydroponics. Kinda new to the hydroponics side of things thanks
 
Dry nutrients like jacks 321. Cheap and easy.

Don't use anything with organic crap in it.

Gh works good for hydro I believe.

P Sure FF is a bunch of organic crap.

You need the normal formula. The calnit and some Epsom salt. So 3 bags of stuff that will last a very long time.

Need a sterilizing agent. I use pool shock. Works great.

Some ph down.

Some drip clean.

And that is about it.
 
They have all that on their website. But I only use 50 or 60% of what they recommend and that is only at full flower.

15-0-0 is the calnit. When you buy jacks. You buy the reg 5-12-26 and a bag of calnit 15-0-0
 
I'm going to be running a rdwc waterfall system that is 40 gallons I want the easy possible solution. Sounds like I'll try the Jack's 321 it sounds simple

It's pretty commonly used:

General Hydroponics have two dry nutrients called MaxiBloom and MaxiGro. It's been found that if you use MaxiBloom in the ratio of 7 grams per 3.78 litres (1 gallon) of water, it produces a very similar effect to the original Lucas Formula. MaxiGro wouldn’t need to be purchased which makes it an easier and cheaper method to use.

Simply add 7 grams of MaxiBloom into a cup and dissolve it in some warm water and then add it to your 3.78 litres (1 gallon) of water. pH should then be adjusted accordingly once you have properly mixed in your MaxiBloom to ensure the most accurate readings.

I have done it before. Just using MaxiBloom and nothing else worked fine from seedlings to the end. I do however now use both MaxiGrow and MaxBloom. I don't use any additives or voodoo otherwise, other than I inoculate my reservoir with a small amount of beneficial microbes 24 hours after a reservoir change (I use tap water with chlorine in it).

Check out 19-4-23 from MSU it’s used from start to finish at same strength and works great. Also pretty cheap. We have used it everything from soil to flood and drain with great results. Super simple to mix 2.5lbs of mix to a gallon of tap water that makes the stock solution then use 15ml per gallon for a ppm or 1000 from start to finish that easy.
