Nutrients

Just some helpful advice from a well studied man, don't buy the big label liquid nutrients unless you want to keep shoveling out loads of cash for something thats 90 percent water, hmmm last I checked I have water at home, measuring devices and a general knowledge and access to the internet for any gray areas. Thus I only use powder nutrients as mixing them with water at home cost about half as much as buying the premixed.

Also with proper monitoring and care you can out perform these so called "bud boosters" with just a little more diligence and effort but aren't our girls worth the effort?:fire:

Lastly isn't the point of growing your own to save money anyways?

When a small grow gives me 8-12 oz dry, I don't give a second though to $100 for nutes.

Furthermore the nutrients that I have used I've spent 30 dollars and still have yet to run out a year later, at first I learned with tomatos and peppers. Peppers are a good natural PH meter they will show problems well before mary jane will

What do you think of a fert with a 20-20-20 ratio?

Sounds like its not really that great but maybe for veg or the transition to flowering.

But the key with either is a higher ratio of N or P depending on your view of veg or flower

I use 30n 12k 18P for veg most of the time.
and I use a 50 P 18K 18 N for flowering.

Most ppl don't value the importance of calcium and potasium for healthy strong plants most my stalks look like bamboo. and can support a large amount of weight on top.:bigjoint:

I usually double that with a 3ft tall plant. Just by its self
Can you please tell me how you get over 10 oz's with a single 3 ft tall plant? Can you direct me in the right direction on how I can achieve this? Are you topping/fimming this plant? Can you please tell me what you do from beginning to harvest?

Right now I veg for 2 months under a 600w mh with an air cooled hood and fim twice in veg to have 4 cola's. After fimming the side branches are the same height as the tops so it looks like I have about 8 tops. At this point the plant is a little over 2 ft tall. I then transplant it into a #10 smart pot and I use Fox farms ocean forest medium, blood meal, bone meal, worm castings, epson salt, and perlite. Switch to 12/12 under a 600w hps with an air cooled hood after transplanted. I am feeding with just water right now and during the last 5 weeks I will be adding molasses and koolbloom on the last 3 weeks. This is what I'm doing right now. Prior to this I did not fim and did not use koolbloom. I only got an oz on a 4 ft tall plant. Plant stayed green until harvest and showed no sighs of difenciency. Ph is consistant at just under 7. What can I do to achieve your yield results? Please help me out.

Just because your plant shows no sign of deficiency doesnt mean its getting the perfect amount of nutrients. Add more nutrients and your plants will yield higher. An ounce per four footer is not much at all.

So what kind of nutrients do you suggest I add? I'm in the first week of flower right now. I'm gonna use koolbloom dry on the last 3 weeks as directed on the instructions. Should I use the Koolbloom wet? It says it's for use in the beginning of flower. I just don't wanna get nut burn since I'm already using blood meal and bone meal. Or could I just add more blood meal and bone meal when I water?
