"nutrients"?

im not planning on giving my babys any nutrients till they turn into bushes, im just wondering why plants would need nutrients if they dont get any help in the wild. thx

I you want to grow swag, go for it.

In the wild there are nutrients in the soil already and there is an eco system going on where things die decompose and turn into foods for things in the earth.

thats just basic science.

In your indoor environment there are usually some nutrients in your sterilised soil or chosen growing medium but not enough to grow your plant past a couple of weeks.

i got this stuff called mother plant, its 2 parts. part A is 2-0-0. part B is 1-1-3. i have miricle grow water soluble fertilizer but it is 24-8-16. my question is, is it ok to use the mother plant on small clones, it seems like weak stuff that can be used often, while the miricle grow maybe 1 every 2 monthes.
