I have been lurking around this site for a while just reading the forums and gaining knowledge. Everyone here seems so knowledgeable and friendly so I decided to become a member.
I am in the process of building my first stealth pc grow box for my first grow. I will start a journal to track my progress and I am open to all comments and suggestions.
My box is almost ready to go and I am missing the most important part of the whole grow, the seeds. I don't know anyone that sells and I don't want to spend a lot of money buying high quality seeds for my first grow.
If anyone from Long Island, NY wants to hook me up with some bag seeds, let me know. Don't worry, I'm not a cop. Just a regular hard working married man with a wife and daughter and a new passion for growing.

Welcome man...for 50.00 or less you can get seeds from nirvana or attitude seed banks.....

Hook you up with bagseeds? goo get a bag yourself, its not hard to find in ny...+ how strict it is in ny no one will meet up w/ you for a sale

I don't know anyone that sells or smokes. I did when I was younger but unfortunately, not anymore.
Just might have to bite the bullet and buy some.

Yea ide suggest ordering some beans. like said, you can get real good ones for ~50... or less if u really want to sting. ide suggest getting non fems and breeding a male and female= seeds for a lifetime (unless you just want bud right away w/o a tiral run- get fems then). bagseed genetics are variable and is just easier to start with a stable strain and not some hermed out sackseeds. good luck to you.

I agree. Growing bag seeds even for a first time grow isn't very attractive. You can buy cheap beans that are well worth the $50 and often the weed will be twice the strength of what you will get from bagseeds (you could be lucky with the bagseeds off course.)
Anyways - i feel sorry for you guys that seeds are not legal over there ;O)

What is a good strain to start with? I need something that is short to medium in height. I am growing in a pc case and plan to lst.

You would want something very indica dominated. Sativa will stretch too much to fit in a pc case. Something like the White Widow will probably be easy and potent. It's not a pure indica, but it doesn't stretch very much. At least not the one they have at Sensi Seed's "White Label" category. It's only €37 - close to $50.
You will find a lot of strains that would fit nicely in that pc-case.
