so is anybody else on here growing nyc diesel right now. i am 4 weeks in and damn they are hella big. very tall. already up to my belly button. of course i am using co2 but still these things are getting huge. i have heard that they are really high yielding plants. the fan leaves are like 11 inches long witch makes my hand look tiny. any nyc diesel growers out there let me know how your look

Prolly one of the effects of the c02 you got going. Plants love that shit.
I've never seen a diesel plant growing, but HAVE smoked the strain, shits fuckin killer man, knocked me on my ass hah!

Are you using the yeast/sugar/water method to get a c02 output in your grow area?

nope im using co2 tank with regulator and a fuzzy logic controller. it takes all the hard work out of co2. i just press in the ppm i want and it does all the work for me. and a refill every 2 to 3 weeks which only costs 17.00$ at my local hydro shop. my canopy is crazy thick i will post pics soon

haha so could i just rig up some shit from my old paintball gear? a c02 tank with a regulator on it, just letting the c02 hiss out? is this possible?

yes its possible but you need to be very careful how much you let out. the air you are breathing right now is 300 ppm and my room with the co2 is 1500 ppm. you need to find the formula that tells you how much scfm you should set your regulator at. just to warn you i dont think a little paintball co2 tank is gonna work you have to have a 20lb or 50lb tank. and i suggest getting a controller. they run around 500 dollars but it takes all the guess work out of it. much luck

haha yeah i was kinda joking about the paintball gear. but damn that sounds like a pricey addition to a grow, but a worthwhile one..

a bit ecpensive but well worth it. it is amazing when you compare co2 growth to regular growth. its just like steroids. im 11 inch fan leaves is just crazy especially when you put your hand next to it.

i am growing out 1 NYCD from soma seeds. i vegged it 3 weeks ~ and its flowering in 1200watts. 7 weeks @time of pic.

very nice buddreams. im glad that mine arent the only ones that are tall and stringy. good bud development. i read in the strain library that nycd is a super yielder. cant wait to see what mine do im only 1 week into flower.
