Nylon netting vs chicken wire for SCROG

I'm thinking of using either 2" chicken wire, or 2" nylon netting for screen training my plants. The nylon netting is a much more convenient and versatile material, but I haven't read much about it being used for SCROG which makes me wonder if it is strong enough to hold plants down without letting them unravel. What do you guys think?

I made a net out of nylon cord, using pvc to make a frame. I placed screws every 2in along the sides of the frame. and then laced the cord around the screws forming my "net". The advantage to nylon is many. Wires tend to bend over time and get the ocasional barb where a wire twist is. The nylon is smooth and wont harm you or your plants, and is more than capable of holding your plants down. They make climbing gear from nylon, so I'm pretty sure it will be strong enough for your plants.
