Oakland County, how to find a doctor

So you expect that I answer medical questions while folks accuse me of drinking and in general berate me and my practice? You expect me, who has dealt with NUMEROUS section 8 hearings and is a respectable expert witness on the subject throughout the state, to let folks be mislead with half baked section 8 schemes that will result in folks going to jail?

This is not a very serious forum for actual discussions of issues, so I no longer really discuss them here. In fact I've not posted for some time. This latest series of posts came in response to some really bad advice on certifications, which is my area of expertise.

I don't mind the entertainment value of some of the postings here, but I do step in when I see things that are simply out there and could hurt patients.

So thank you, I will carry on.

Dr. Bob

So you accusing GregS of intentionally having people thrown in jail to line his own pockets is a professional opinion of some sort?

You seemed more interested in doing a touchdown dance over having proved him wrong.

Yes, and backed it up. it is a scheme to try and game the system at the expense of patients to make money at a farmers market. I merely pointed that out because it is a DANGER to patients that is clearly seen by those of us that actually understand the legal aspects of section 8. I don't apologize for that. The key proof is he wants THEM to take the risk he will not take himself. That is dishonest.

Is it professional? Of course. I also tell people not to drink antifreeze because it will kill them. You have a problem with that too?

So, in one breath you're the resident Robin Hood looking out for all of us here on RIU, and in the next breath it's "This is not a very serious forum for actual discussions of issues, so I no longer really discuss them here."

No, Bob. What you were doing was rubbing Greg's nose in this because he got your panties in a wad on another site.

Is it wrong to expect professional conduct from a doctor? I would boot my doctor to the curb if I saw him bickering online over some of the nonsense that you engage in.

You are welcome to view it any way you wish. I don't bother to explain myself repeatedly or debate folks that don't have a clue. Don't drink antifreeze.

I have a number of medical conditions. Medical weed helps alleviate some symptoms. I have seen many young healthy looking people trying to get and usually succeeding to get MM cards. So I see where Dr. Bob is coming from. The last place I went to for renewal was in Flint. I was a bit surprised to see that someone did get rejected by the doctor while I was there. So some docs do seem to have scruples when it comes to medical weed patient approval.

Exactly woods. My average patient age is 51, all have documented conditions in their medical records, and all will stand up to a section 8 challenge. That is the way I want it.

The mills are being shut down by the law, and the result is higher respect for the process in the courts and medical profession. We are making good progress.

I'm glad to be part of the solution, not part of the problem.

I'm sure there are doctors that deny very few mmmp recomendations. There are also plenty of "pain clinics" that deny no one, and are nothing more than a front for a drug dealer dressed in a white coat. I will take the marijuana doc being a little loose with the pen over the walking prescription pad.

There are very sick people among us that otherwise look healthy. Be careful assuming otherwise. And even if they're not dying of cancer, why should you, I, or Dr. B look down our nose at them? Shit, if it helps someone sleep better at night then right on. If it helps a guy relax a bit and not go postal at work, then why not support that even if they don't meet your definition of "sick"? Unlike ANY other drug, responsible use of this plant should be encouraged imo

Dr. Bob, I've stumbled upon quite a bit of reading material related to you. Some interesting stuff. So while I appreciate the advice, I usually don't heed the words of someone of such questionable character.

And I'm Canadian. It's cold as fuck up there. Antifreeze is a winter time staple in our diet :-)

Well personally I think it should be legal for adult use by anyone. I was just stating what I've seen under the current law.
