Obama and weed

Funny i have not seen or heard any language on the news that makes me think Obama is remotely interested in legalizing pot. yeah so maybe he'll direct the dea to leave the medical users alone but thats a far cry from legalizing or even decriminalizing it.:peace:

After hearing about all the pork in his "stimulus" bill, yup...sure looks that way!

As for legalizing pot, the feds are still raiding dispensaries out here in Cal, so it does not look like he is too concerned about legalizing it right now.

Will be interesting times if it gets legalized on a per state basis. Wonder what the fed will claim as they trample state's rights?
 
i like it the way it is now.

dumb stereotypical stoners get found because they have a full car of people smoking a blunt in an empty parking lot

and the smart smokers regulate how much they consume while leading a productive life.

ive thought of that before. its almost like a mix between darwinism and hitler though. but theres no holocaust just prison and jail. its made me wonder if society would get dumber with the legalization of weed. i know many stoners with a 6 figure income that wasnt through the sales of marijuana. but its like u said, the dumb ones weed themselves out.
 
got back from class for lunch and a buddy told me there was an article in the NY Times talking about legalizing weed in cali. by the way he was talking it sounded like they were going to legalize it for recreational use. i have yet to find that article, and he is at class so i'll let you know when he gets back. there is a video on youtube of obama being asked about medical use and he said he was for it, it just wasn't at the top of his list.

one of the reasons high quality ganj is expensive is because there is a risk atatched to growing it, if there was no risk or very little risk, the price would durasticaly drop.

in canada you can get a g of killer shit for 10$, you could get a oz of killer shit for 200$. i would enjoy that no matter what. better than the 450$ i have to spend on decent budd where im at...

duhhhh he is paying people off. thats all politics are these days. its all bull shit but unless you plan on doing something to change it, idk what you can say.

i wonder who bush payd off? oh yea... himself... hmmm. who benifits from everything bush did while he was in office? rich people, people that run the oil rigs or logging companies, and you know who owns the oil rigs and logging company that benifited the most from what bush did? the bushes... what a leader... at least obama gives a fuck about the thousands of people locked up for nonviolent crimes usualy dealing with drugs.

obama will never legalize weed, he has already said that. he wants to decriminalize it, get those people out of jail and back to theyre lives, while at the same time supporting it as a medical drug. fuck, let the people that need it have it, let everyone else that smokes it illegaly be considered the drugys, just like pill poppers.
 
the fact of the matter is, prohibition started because of racism and money hungry people like bush. its something that should have never happened but did because the government was fucked then and its been fucked now, what can be done? its been pownded into everyones heads forever, weed has been portrayd as the worst drug on earth.
