Since Australia's 1996 laws banning most guns and making it a crime to use a gun defensively, armed robberies rose by 51%, unarmed robberies by 37%, assaults by 24% and kidnappings by 43%. While murders fell by 3%, manslaughter rose by 16%.

Been to Somalia? I have. Been to Iraq? I have. Been to Japan? I have. Been to Brazil? I have, Been to Australia? Egypt, Kuwait, UAE? How about the Phillipines or perhaps Thailand? Mexico? Canada? China? Taiwan? Hong Kong? I have been to all of those countries, it is wrong of you to assume I have not been anywhere just because I don't get scared of seeing someone with a gun.
BTW the country with the highest rate of gun violence isn't the USA, in fact the USA isn't even in the top nine
