Obama Stimulus Plan Dangerous to Your Health..CODE RED.

The thing is, there aren't any jobs that pay much over minimum wage, neither one has health insurance. One still lives here. They aren't financially able to have kids and they are well aware of it.

The world is more over populated now than it's ever been. There are more people living on what used to be farmland than there have ever been. People comparing this crisis to the 70's or the 30's aren't doing the population vs food math.

If only the idiots are reproducing, then they'll eventually die out and the earth can heal itself.

I know how you feel Miss.. but who's supposed to help fix it if only the idiots are reproducing? LOL. My man wants like 10 kids- I dunno about that many. LOL. But I know where he's coming from.. planting the seeds of intelligent informed children operating outside the system, seriously, 1 informed critically thinking child outweighs a lot of the mindless indoctrinated ones. LOL. So while others may think it's irresponsible to bring more kids into this world right now- well, I disagree, and will continue on- because I honestly think it is parents like me who NEED to be raising children right now more than ever.

wouldn't it be wonderful if that were the case? if we could count on ignorant over-breeders to die off of their own accord, there might be some light at the end of the tunnel. unluckily, the successful are forced to support the indolent. thanks to a welfare state mentality, we reward fools for producing children they cannot possibly provide for by stealing from those with enough responsibility to live within their means. at what point do we realize that, though each life may be precious, those individual lives are not worth the destruction of an entire society and some measure of natural laws must be allowed to follow their course?

As an abstentionist who believes that voting should be done from the rooftops (with quality optics) I agree with your statement up until a point.
It should read:
Yeah, it was about a world inhabited by retards, or in modern parlance, those most likely to vote

The map has been "closed" for so long. The planet's a labor camp and there's no escape. I wish I owned an abandoned oil rig as it would make a fine little utopia.

It's pretty simple really, no need for teenage dramatics on rooftops (grow a pair ).

Democracy is HARD work. When the people become unwilling to lift the load of prosperity...it simply slips through the fingers and is gone.
We are witnessing this today as the rot of socialism which has been creeping around the globe finally takes root in the last great bastion of capitalism.
Some would say this is a great thing...Obama almost certainly so. A strong electorate would never have elected Obama. There is decay and Obama is a symptom of that malaise.
What is not considered is that socialism has been tolerable in places like europe and asia ONLY because of the HUGE capitalist ENGINE called the USA. As this engine chokes out....and it is being deliberately choked out IMO.... the true face of socialism will begin to shine globally.
Honestly, it'll be a hoot... Sometimes things just have to shake out.....even if half the pop has to starve to get there.

Oh Med.. there you are being over dramatic and trying to put words in my mouth again.. I don't want 'who can reproduce' controlled, and I think too highly of myself? LOL. You're kidding right? I think too highly of myself because I know I am a good parent and think their should be more parents like myself?

I don't wanna control who breeds by any means, I just happen to think that those that choose to (and yes, accidents is choosing to as well, we're all old enough and informed enough to know the risks you take any time you have sex) should take responsibility for their children and actually raise them.. I don't understand having children and not taking care of them, sending them off to being indoctrinated by other people, etc. etc. I'm just opposed to the whole idea of it..

But before you jump the gun on anything, I don't want to force people to care for their children either.. society needs to get back to a point where people WANT to take care of their responsibilities, and yes, I do think it is possible to have a moral society once again..

The world isn't over populated.. the world is too wasteful. We could surely feed and take care of every single person on this damn earth and then some.. people might have to give up their wasted "perfect lawns" though to do it.. Why do we waste so much land not growing or producing anything on? It's pathetic.

For the reference to Idiocracy.. LOL.. oh gosh, that movie is funny, but at the same time, so NOT funny.. though the mass population could certainly get like that (there's too many parallels even currently to that movie it's not funny) but the thing is we have an elite class who very much so is intelligent, seemingly to be systematically weeding out the "under class".. So I don't think that the human race will get so stupid that they will eventually go extinct..

As far as back on the topic of the thread.. anyone who isn't familiar with the whole picture of the health care scenario they are planning should read up.. it isn't pretty. Daschle's plan is pretty gruesome if you actually read his book, Rahm Emmanuel also touches on this topic as well in his book, among other scary things (such as required military training and community service for everyone)..

Anyone else see that article weeks back when Putin warned the U.S. about too much socialism and interference in the market, and how Russia already made that mistake and the U.S. should not repeat it? LMFAO.. funniest thing I had seen in a long time.. when the president of Russia is warning the US about socialism things are pretty bad..

Fellow Citizens:

I'd like to congratulate each and everyone of you on electing a retard that is going to destroy this country. I want to congratulate you on electing some one that can not be called an American with out insulting the true Americans out there.

This person consistently says the most unAmerican things possible.

“There are times when you can afford to redecorate your house,” Mr. Obama said on Thursday morning as he released an outline of the budget for the next fiscal year, which begins in October, “and there are times when you have to focus on rebuilding its foundation.”
With out realizing that the entire problem with the statement is that in reality a rational person would DO NEITHER IF THEY DID NOT HAVE THE MONEY SAVED UP FOR IT.

Let's not even touch upon the fact that he consistently pushes more and more things off into the distant future. This isn't intelligence, this is politicism writ large. Withdrawal from Iraq by 2010, how convenient, just in time for the 2010 elections.

Then there's this

The deficit he inherited, a shortfall of more than $1 trillion as the current fiscal year began, has continued to swell in recent months with additional bank bailouts, the first wave of spending from a newly enacted stimulus plan and the continuing costs of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The administration, as it had announced, will try to cut that amount sharply by 2013, when Mr. Obama’s first term ends, to $533 billion, even as it escalates spending on crucial priorities.
Instead of trying to resolve the problem of out of control government spending Obama is planning on ballooning the amount of debt that is being added onto the backs of tax payers, and future generations while providing more and more free services to societal parasites.

His administration will attempt to close the large fiscal gap even while starting a major health-care initiative intended to substantially extend coverage; to do so, it foresees increasing taxes on the wealthiest Americans and using revenue from a new program: selling carbon credits to manufacturers as part of a cap-and-trade plan meant to slow climate change.
Further savings would come from such items as a proposal to phase out government payments to crop producers making more than $500,000. Additional revenues are posited from a tightening of tax-code enforcement.
And then there's the above, which demonstrates that for all his eloquence he has been too busy listening to the media instead of studying the data surrounding climate change. Data that indicates that the sun is primarily responsible for the increase in temperatures due to an increase in activity from the 70s - 90s. A trend that was sharply reversed in 1998 and has resulted in lower temperatures.

A trend that in fact is continuing today with the winters of 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 setting records for snowfall such as the 24 inches that fell in Idaho, and the new low for Maine of -51 or -52.

Instead of electing an intelligent person that was not willing to jump headfirst into doing stupid shit the United States was manipulated into choosing between two idiots. Unfortunately for us, it appears that we have gotten stuck with the worse of the two choices.

The deficit, which at 12.3 percent of gross domestic product is expected to touch its highest level since 1945, could grow this year if the economy worsens significantly and a new infusion of capital into distressed banks is ordered; the administration has estimated that this might call for adding $250 billion to the cost of the bailout already approved by Congress.
And in the mean time the national debt is going to exceed the size of the economy.

Maybe the international bankers can be convinced to accept human sacrifices in lieu of payment. We can start with Obama, and then move on to 95% of the Representatives and Senators that are supporting the insane, unAmerican policies of this lunatic.

"I don’t think that we can continue on our current course," he added.
He's absolutely right, we can't continue on the CURRENT course that he has set in his stupidity. We can not survive becoming more and more like Europe.

Let's not forget the people that are being expected to foot this bill.

“It is not just misguided but dangerous to raise taxes on small businesses and families that can’t afford to pay them,” Mr. Cantor said. “In fact, a majority of those penalized by the proposed tax increase in this budget are small businesses.”
What the media does not report is that it will be the employees of these small businesses that will foot this bill. If we think unemployment is high now, just wait until the small businesses start on their lay offs. There's 600,000 doctors in the United States, and there's at least 2.4 Million employeed directly by them in staff positions. You can expect lay offs there, that will make this seem like a bad dream compared to the nightmare to come.

Let's not forget the small publicly traded companies. They are the ones that haven't announced massive job cuts yet, but they are starting too, because the bigger companies have stopped ordering supplies from them. The next round of lay offs is going to be enormous, and due to the policies being enacted by Obama will not likely be resolved with in our life times.

And who can ignore this hypocrisy. He just stated that you don't REDECORATE your house when you need to REBUILD ITS FOUNDATION, just what the hell does he think he's doing with this. Green Industry is not going to replace the jobs being lost by the manufacturing sector, and will likely cause more job losses.

The president also proposed, in the 10-year budget outline he released Thursday, to use revenues from the centerpiece of his environmental policy — a plan under which companies must buy permits to exceed pollution emission caps — to pay for an extension of a two-year tax credit that benefits low-wage and middle-income people.
Universal health care is worth that price, Mr. Obama said.
No it's not. Nothing is worth the price of degrading ourselves to being nothing more than selfish, greedy, ignorant assholes too self-centered to realize that our actions are destroying this Republic by punishing hardwork and sacrifice, and rewarding sloth, gluttony, lust, greed, wrath, envy and pride.

We have seen an idiot who believes in the stupidity of class warfare get elected to the highest office in what was once a free (and prosperous) nation. We have elected some one who is chaining us down like slaves, and forcing us to become nothing more than kept slaves.

Ironically, unlike most slaves the vast majority are either too stupid, or too caught up in the partisan politics to see the chains that are being placed around them.

The officials said the increase in revenues, estimated at $318 billion over 10 years, would account for about half of a $634 billion “reserve fund” that Mr. Obama will set aside in his budget to address changes in the health care system. The other half would come from proposed cost savings in Medicare, Medicaid and other health programs.
This program is going to fail just like Medicare and Medicaid before it. About the only thing that is likely to come from this is the continuation of doctors fleeing from medicine in a mass exodus from that profession. The tighter the government squeezes the doctors the more and more they turn their back on the jobs they thought they once wanted.

Who can blame them. Due to the creation of Medicare and Medicaid they have gotten bogged down in paperwork. It wont get better under Obama's health care plan. The only thing that Obama is doing is granting a corporate monopoly to a few insurance companies that are entrenched in the Medicare and Medicaid System. Companies like Aetna, Anthem, Cigna and other insurance giants.

The State Department gets the biggest increase, rising from $36.7 billion this year to $51.7 billion next year, although Mr. Obama will not be able to keep his promise to double foreign aid.
Well, at least that's some good news, the real question is how much more is he sending to foreign nations in tribute? How much of his $25 Billion in subsidizing corrupt politicians in Africa is he getting?

How many more bureaucrats are going to be added to the State Department? Bureaucrats that do nothing but consume the blood and sweat of everyone that actually pays taxes?

Then there's even more indicating that Obama doesn't even understand the words that he's speaking.

However, Congress is in the early stages of debating global warming legislation program, and any revenue from it is still largely speculative.
The Department of Energywill have much more to spend, thanks in part to money from the stimulus package for research, weatherization programs and modernization of the electric grid this year and beyond. Also included in the current year are several billion dollars in aid for American automakers to design and build high-mileage cars. The Department of Interior budget grows slowly, with new money for park maintenance, endangered species protection and renewable energy projects.
At the Environmental Protection Agency, the budget projects a 34 percent spending increase for 2010, with much of the money devoted to clean water projects, a Great Lakes restoration program and across-the-board increases for regulation, research and enforcement.
That appears to be a lot of redecorating. How many new buildings is the EPA planning on purchasing or leasing?

Though here's something that's truly surprising. We now have proof that Obama is an idiot (incapable of using his mind) as opposed to being stupid (incapable of acquiring knowledge, or lacking.)

Because utilities and other businesses would presumably pass on the costs of carbon payments to customers, Mr. Obama will propose to use most of the revenue from the greenhouse gas emission permits to finance an extension of the new “Making Work Pay” tax credit beyond the two years covered in the economic recovery plan.
In short, the middle class is going to get shafted while the poor get their bail outs, too.

We might as well take down all our flags and put them back up upside down, because we are a nation undersiege. The founding principles of this nation are being destroyed by an incompetent idiot that wasn't even elected by the majority of the populace, but a mere majority of those that can, or chose to vote. A segment of the population that probably doesn't surpass 25%.

I'm afraid of heights anyways, and oh to be a teenager again (but in the 80's again with my current "wisdom").

Talk radio has taught me that the US is not a democracy, but rather a federal republic, which was founded by Christians, for Christians.
Having participated in some direct democratic decision making, I realize that it is difficult and becomes exponentially more work the more people who participate, but working out some kind of consensus can feel honest and rewarding, especially when your shared vision is achieved.
There has always been State interference in markets. They are interdependent. Beuracracy is also the kind of cancer that needs to multiply or die off. There is always socialism for the wealthy. Without a body possessing a legitimate monopoly on violence to preserve the status quo, the have-nots would quickly have what the haves once had. The State also creates scarcities and the illusion of scarcity as a means to ensure profits. Illegal drugs are a good example of this. Like any relatively low-value commodity whose value increases due to it's legislation.
I agree that electing Obama a sign of a broken sysytem, but the need to place someone else above you in a hierarchy which purports to manage your affairs is also a sign of weakness and self-loathing.
The US is unravelling because that's what happens to empires eventually. The dance just becomes too complicated and sooner or later everybody is running into each other and falling on the ground. Afghanistan almost seems like a finishing line for superpowers. I don't know that it's deliberate, but ideology has beaten pragmatism in the West, since the 1980's. Preservation of myths and the proving of points are the big concern after campaign fundraising.
I also agree a good time to acquire a rudimentary knowledge of producing your own food, if you don't already. I just hope the future is as fun as Red Dawn seemed at the time.
