the health care bill is just a canard that will gain the democrates more power in later elections,

they could solve the health care problem easily by giving the true number of uninsured = 12 miilion, taxs cuts enough to allow them to afford and purchase thier own healthcare,


but they would never do that beause the main thing they must have to control the people is the public option

and once everyone gets dropped by thier employers health plan and is gradually corralled into the public option they will consolidate even more power over every citizen

but this time instead of controling your wealth, your bread and butter, now they will also control your health, the very breath you take


and when you are an old man on your death bed with your grandchildren staring down at you, they will still be out there constantly working harder to control and enslave thier people, and you can tell them you let it happen

I hate to be the asshole that uses the whole "learn how to spell n00b" thing but come on, propiganda and propeganda, haha really? I clearly under estimated you, as your prepared to tell me the"type of person" I am based off a one post rebuttal made to you on the internet. Some wicked skills there. Anyways, as too the whole political aspect of your arguement, I think its safe to say that you and your patriotism and wealth is far more hook line and sinker into propaganda then me. I don't really concern myself with either, if I have to give up a little so all people of this "country" can have a better standard of life and lets say uhh health insurance so they can get health care, this isn't Africa afterall. I think that our government is set up well in theory but doesn't account for the human aspect of ignorance and greed enough in its system of checks and balances as it allows all branches to be shady ass corrupt bastards with their own agenda, fighting each other forever and ever to put in place their own policies only to take too long and come up with a compromise in which the poeple seem to always lose, meanwhile overlooking the fact that the opposition is being so corrupt, because so are you. But thats just my view of the workings of our government. I suppose its just symptoms of "indoctrination" and good herb collaborating.. I refer to it as enlightenment

Just wondering how you think tax credits are supposed to bring down the cost of health insurance premiums, which are on track to DOUBLE (yes, DOUBLE) in the next decade?

The REAL problem is not that people are uninsured (although that is a huge problem), it's that insurance premiums have increased at a rate some 7 times faster than WAGES. The average family can expect to pay at least $1000 more for their current insurance policy in the next year (while gaining no added benefits, whatsoever - in fact, many will LOSE benefits due to the price increase).

by advocating TAX CREDITS to offset the price of insurance, without doing anything to control the rising costs, you're actually advocating HIGHER TAXES for everyone.

For instance, under the Senate finance committee bill, my family would receive a tax credit equal to 80-90% of our yearly premium. Next year, that would be approximately $10,000. Two years from now, it would be even more. Ten years from now, it would be nearing $20,000.

Where is the government supposed to get the money for those "tax credits", hmmm?
