Obamas last move

The guy DID give us massive health care reform, something that many liberals promised and failed to deliver - and something not a single conservative has even promised.

as I said before.. thanks Obomination.. and VP...Burden you just made the insurance co very very rich....... I am sure, NEITHER one of you has ANY connection to the ins co's

And that reform needs to be killed, killed with fire.

ObamaCare is simply a vehicle to destroy our current system and usher in a single payer system as the only salvation for the destruction brought about by ObamaCare.

I really find it funny that supporters of ObamaCare think that when they pay their "no-insurance" tax/penalty, they actually get health insurance. No, you get to pay the tax/penalty and you still got no fucking insurance.

you'd have to be awfully dumb to make 4x poverty (or more) and not buy insurance. those are the only people who will face a (rather impotent) tax penalty.

but then again, i am talking to a rightie who thinks that america is in his corner with respect to ending SS and the rest of the social safety net.

has anyone heard the right's latest complain about obama? kyl says he talks "incessantly" about the middle class.

lol. how dare he! :cuss:

December 2, 1993 - Leading conservative operative William Kristol privately circulates a strategy document to Republicans in Congress. Kristol writes that congressional Republicans should work to "kill" -- not amend -- the Clinton plan because it presents a real danger to the Republican future: Its passage will give the Democrats a lock on the crucial middle-class vote and revive the reputation of the party. Nearly a full year before Republicans will unite behind the "Contract With America," Kristol has provided the rationale and the steel for them to achieve their aims of winning control of Congress and becoming America's majority party. Killinghealth care will serve both ends. Thetiming of the memo dovetails with a growing private consensus among Republicans that all-out opposition to the Clinton plan is in their best political interest. Until the memo surfaces, most opponents prefer behind-the-scenes warfare largely shielded from public view. The boldness of Kristol's strategy signals a new turn in the battle. Not only is it politically acceptable to criticize the Clinton plan on policy grounds, it is also politically advantageous. By the end of 1993, blocking reform poses little risk as the public becomes increasingly fearful of what it has heard about the Clinton plan.

This is the sort of "discussion" the right loves to have.

"Obama hasn't done anything"

"Sure he has, he effected health care reform"

"oh, well that was no good to start with"

the point is, like it or not, he did do what he promised - and that was the original discussion.

And health insurance companies contribute SO MUCH to the health of this nation and the reduction in health care costs , right?

He increased government spending, thereby indebting future generaions. He reduced personal liberty. He signed a bill that takes away freedom to transact or not to transact. He continued the war on pot smokers. He kills children thru his wars of aggression.

He's a dickwad, in a long line of dickwads.

Lots of presidents have "increased government spending". You don't realy care about future generations. How has he reduced personal liberty? How has he taken away freedom to transact or not. Yes, he continues the war on pot smokers. Every president winds up killing children.

so what is your point? On the one hand you folk are complaining that he hasn't done anything and on the other you claim he has done too much.

I am not one for political adds but this one was pretty good, exposing how Obama is and people can relate with. From hope to hypocrisy.

Romney did, he promised the people of Massachusetts individual mandates and they got the highest healthcare costs in the country.

Before Romneys mandate of insurance coverage
massachusetts had the highest healthcare costs in the country
Difference is now the costs have come down in relation to where they could of been
also massachussetts has one of the highest standards of living in the USA
Did you forget to include these
FACTs?
