For the record, I have not used OF as I was warned away from it by someone who said it was "too hot." They meant this literally, as a pile of it with a piece of plywood at the bottom had composted hot enough to burn that plywood to a crisp. So that's the potential downside of all that good organic stuff in there.

I have no complaints about happy frog. Have used it many times and it's never let me down. Currently, I mix it with some bat guano before it goes into pots. I try to put em in the largest possible pots from the get go rather than transplant em a bunch of times. I water with plain water until I feel the nutrients in the soil have been depleted, as indicated by the plants, and then start watering with Maxsea (this is outside, now) every third watering or once a week, whichever comes first. The rest of the time they get straight water.

The plants are NOT complaining.

^ And I happen to be yet another one of those people. When all somebody ever does is talk shit, it is highly representative of the fact that they are full of shit. The evidence is that these people seem to have no interest in coming to any clear, logical resolution/getting to the bottom of what exactly the issue was or if it really had anything to do with the product in question. It might not take a genius to grow cannabis but logical reasoning and common sense really do help. And that is also how being a mature, open-minded adult works as opposed to lashing out and going e-punk because of one bad experience.
