Odour Issues

Hi all,

I'm currently planning my grow construction and came to a stand still after thinking about odour issues.

Stealth is a priority! So... Where could I vent the exhast air coming from the grow room too?

I don't really want the exhast to be pointing to a window or anywhere the odour can be noticed really. Could I vent this under the floorboards?

use a carbon filter, its odor free.

You can use scrubbers to clean the air and let it just recirculate. Or you can vent out the chimney. Which is what I do. You can also vent into your sewer line.

I've been looking at carbon filters but always wondered about their effectiveness of odour cleansing? Also, what size would be most suited to a standard size double wardrobe/dresser?

depends what the deminsions are. i say a 4 inch would work though. i paid 119 for fan and filter on ebay from gotham hydro it works good but the filter is huge lol plants are on week 3 of 12/12 and arent smelling that bad yet but so far i cant smell anything outside.

The dimensions are 140cm (w) x 180w (h) x 51w (d)

Just want to get a rough idea of what sort of odour control elements I will need.

Invest in a can filter they work magic when it comes to odor control. As far as size look on thier web site and you shouldnt have a problem finding info on what one would best suite your needs.
