Does anyone know anything about "The Odyssey" strain? I have tried researching it and can find nothing pretty much. All I know is that it is for seasoned growers.
On the contrary, I'm having exceptional, vigorous results with Odyssey clones (Blue Café Oaksterdam). Without exception, rooting hasn't been a problem within my CGE (day temps remain within 72 to 76 degrees F (22.2 to 24.4 degrees C) pulling inside house air from another room using a 8" MaxCan in a homemade insulated fan box, exhausting through a CanFilter 75 which is active 24/7). I'm using a LittleBoy to process H2O, 3 GH Family Series (Micro, Bloom, Flower), SuperThrive and GO Organic Root Stimulator on a 2 feed and 1 H20 rotation (2x in a row fertilizer, 1x flush with straight LittleBoy H20). All this with 2ea 1Kw 6" vented hoods with ducting running on a Light Rail 5 in a 10x7 area being pulled by another 8" MaxFan in a homemade insulated fan box: 18/6 hrs Veg, transition to flower w/ 12 hrs + 0/0 for 36 hrs in 5 gal containers using FoxFarm Ocean. BTW, I heat my home with the light exhaust - No extra utilities during winter!!! Be GREEN my friends. Try to avoid CO2 supplementation as it is EXTREMELY BAD FOR MOTHER EARTH ... I be happy man, very happy !!! People freak at just how quiet my CGE is!!! They say it's the quietest they've ever experienced. My bible is by Jorge Cervantes. They do not clone well (takes longer to root for me), however once they root, they are the best all around of any plants I have ever been acquainted with. Tight clean buds that hold their weight and trim clean. Once cured, they are sweeter than ever. Beautiful solid and never disappointing. I have heard that it is a cross between white widow and blueberry, however I wrote that guy who said to write and he never wrote me back and I came across the information a long time ago and did not save it, so of course, I am not certain. I kind of recall that there was a story about them from somewhere in San Francisco. Good luck!
Its a West Coast thang...never heard of them
Actually, it is supposed to be primarily indica, easy to grow, only had one issue with cloner and slow rooting, then it took off again. Supposedly 26% THC, patients of mine say, couch lock, mind numbing. Only have done the Hydro, so my yields vary, but all have produced large, glistening, Kuh Thud nugs, nice colas, nice popcorn, even with lower trim prior to flowering. Its a West Coast thang...
Odyssey derives from the HopeNet dispensary, SFO. Vigorous growth, strong cuttings which quick root and are mildew resistant. Ripens quickly with an excellent yield.
Effect: Mostly Sativa; Long lasting head high
Bouquet / Taste: Sweet taste and aroma
Genetics: Sativa / Indica hybrid
Flower time: 7 to 8 weeks
... for information now on Elephant and Purple Elephant..." Yeah, I heard it was an African Sativa that was simply grown on Elephant! Yes, you'll have to consult your local zoo about growing on elephant dung, but there probably is a genetic distinction to follow up on here. I don't know genes, except what I heard from some cats at a collective. Elephant DOES come from Africa and DOES perform well on dung. That's what I've got.
