off and rollin.. first cfl grow

has it affected energy costs? and what kind of venting do you have going on im looking do do a similar grow.

energy costs are not noticeable. maybe a few bucks more per month. the closet its in has no ventilation so i leave the door open. the good thing is though, i can shut and lock the door and nobody can tell anything is behind it. the bad news is in the summer it is too hot to keep the door open cause with no ventilation the room will get up to about 91. i keep a fan drawing hot air up from the plant.

Sick grow man just read all the way through im looking to do something almost identical to that in the very near future and was just wondering wat LST means?

thanks everyone.

so the question: to feed or not to feed. i'm thinking about feeding her again today. two days ago i flushed with 2 gallons of fresh water and molasses. i think i'm gonna hit her with the big bloom again today though.

So i ended up feeding her 3 days ago. Today I flushed again with 2 gallons of clean water. While saturated, I noticed the Springtails are back in action. I was watching them hop around when I noticed something else slithering around. At first I thought it was some sort of worm... I pulled it out and took a look at it and it was in fact an insect. I think I have narrowed it down to be an Oligotoma.. or "Web Spinner." Anyone know about these critters?

I noticed some webbing at the bottom of my pot around the drainage hole. I never saw any spider mites or damage to the plant so I stopped worrying about it a month ago. I wonder if this webspinner spun the web.

Anyway.. how does she look?? The last pic shows springtails on the surface of the water.

I love this stuff also (Big BLoom) , i don't think i would drink it but add some to the water when i take a bath every night....

What does "cloudy" vs "amber" mean? :/

thats a question answered all the time in the harvest forum. basically, the color of the trichomes tells you how far along you are. they start clear and change to cloudy, yellowy, orange, burnt, and then brown and the color of the trichome has to do with the chemical makeup and different development stages

looking good...what color are the trics now???? and as long as you see no webs in the buds you shouldl be could to go...Maybe some spider was trying to get a free meal....

your buds look great!! i wish i had access to nutrients like that! to far north!! cant wait to start flowering. i hope i get a nice turn out like you did come flower time :)

Hey man, good grow. I'm going to try this LST on my second grow since I'm in the middle of growing an autoflowering dwarf. I didn't know about it until I read up on your grow. I like what it's done for your yield and am looking forward to using it on my second grow. Good job.
