Off the weed

I have health issues but unfortunately locally they don't like you growing your own. So I've come off it as i'm fed up with the police banging on my door, I've gone back to Amitryptyline and destroyed my blue cheese cutting because I got a caution which gives you a record and makes you unemployable where there are checks. Nightmare I've had very little sleep and feel like crap. Cheers dumb ass over controlling government.

Sorry to hear this.. I hated Amitriptyline, I took it for sleep a few years ago and it zombied me out big time. I've been off the weed a few days cause I needed a T break, personally I smoke weed to get high and don't benefit much medicinally so It's easy for me. I'm a little irritable for a couple days after discontinuation but that's all..

Do you take the red pill at night or during the day? Just curious.

Hi, thanks for the responce. I met a blind guy once who was on the maximum dosage of Amitryptyline, which i think is 100mg, and I thought then, it was too much. The most I've taken is 50mg which I think is the red pill, these things change. But reduced it to 25mg because my scalp went dry, my skin lost its complexion, you get constipation too. and if you are spending all day weaving in and out of traffic, the last thing you want to be is tired. I remember waking up one morning and phoning in ready to ride and accidentally took another pill. I had to phone back to say, maybe later. No way was I going to ride a motorcycle all day feeling zonked out. You should only ever take amitryptyline at night really, because you still have to function. I do think it has helped me to sleep well but you soon get used to it. Coming off of it I sometimes enter into a lucid state. It may even be Amytriptyline that led me to the Lucidity Institute, wondering what the heck was going on. Well its better than looking for God in the Devils back garden with copious amounts of LSD. - I think they will legalise weed here soon anyway. I took a walk today, only smelled it three times, its everywhere. For me it makes sense to legalise it in a well regulated way.

Yeah, I've been off of it for some 4 or 5 months now, since before I joined RIU,
waiting to take my surprise U/A. I'm sick and tired of waiting.
Lucidity Institute
You got into lucid dreaming? I have heard that's not really a good idea.

Hi, becoming lucid is a natural state I think it first happened as a kid it was the best experience I've had in 57 years. If the sensation of flying by thought is a bad idea, then I don't know what is a good one. Not always good though. i remember waking up lucid, hanging upside down thousands of feet in the air, and I was stuck, didn't have a parchute so I preyed to God to help me out and promised I'd give a million. And bam, I'm wide awake in my bed at home, traumatised, short of breath, but alive. I have no idea how i'm going to pay that one off because I'm still on the dole. When I become lucid, the next thought becomes a reality, it seems I like boobs. Be careful what you wish for. Its a bit of a sensation when you find yourself next to a massive Eagle perched right there next to you, it makes you hope its not viewing you as a mouse.

That's what I heard about LD. I was gonna try it years ago, but when I read that
you can wind up somewhere and never get back, well, I said forget that.
I am really sorry to hear about your sleep probs, i'm insomniac too. Been so for
almost 50 years, dammit. I've tried the Amitriptyline too, and don't like it. Been
on all kinda anti depressants and such, until the last 15 years or so. I'm better off
w/o them, not to mention some stop working after a few years. I've only started
smoking cannabis since it became legal about 5 years ago, after a 25 years lay off
from it. Prob is, the legal stuff just isn't really very good. Tastes like crap, and doesn't
really get me high. Back in the old days, I used to love that shit. It was like my bread
and butter back in the days.

Anyhow, man, best to you and your mental health.

Wind up somewhere and never get back, o_O. WTF? What happens when you wake up,?

I dunno man. Read up on it and find out. That's why I never tried it. Have you ever experienced
astral projection? That's close to what happens in lucid dreaming, i think. And you can get lost.
So, what happens when you wake up? Maybe you wake up in an asylum somewhere, I DUNNO,
and my life ain't there for the experiment. So yeah, I read how to lucid dream, and evidently
ukdave does it, as he said:

And from what I've read about lucid dreaming, and experienced one time in an astral projection
on white lightening LSD, it can happen. You could be having sex with Marilyn Monroe, gravity free in the ISS, then
find yourself having sex with her, only as she would be today, a corpse. The limit here is your
imagination. Do you know what that is? Well, do ya, punk? Life is fascinating. Who has more
fun than people? But that in itself's a double-edge sword.

People who have schizophrenia see things, talk to people who ain't there, a lot.
They're usually really smart and talented too. And they don't show symptoms until the latter teen years, or early twenties.
It's all in their heads. It's in all of our heads.

I think he's taking acid too or something,. I am a lucid dreamer so I know what it feels like. It's nothing like that to me. I realize I'm dreaming and can do whatever I want to a point. Lots of flying and floating dreams. And I like the ladies so they wind up in my dreams a lot too,

LSD or not, it's brain chemistry. Seems a lotta ppl here do LD. If I tried LD,
and as I said, I wouldn't, I'd want to meet up with somebody else on the same
dream, see how that works. It'd make the WWW communication look like a
couple of cans and a string.

If being able to fly sounds bad it's not for you, lol. I've always been a lucid dreamer to a point but you can get better at controlling them and at having them more often. I didn't know I actually did that until I had a dream where my wife's whole family and I are sitting down eating and I realized it had to be dream all of a sudden and could say whatever I wanted. I woke up shortly after because I was new at controlling them.

Edit: shit I just realized what section this is in,.

I used to regularly use nutmeg to assist with lucid dreaming states. Worked up to a point (or seemed like it) but the after effects were getting bad so I had to stop.

I swear to God as I sit here on my liars chair that I was not on LSA, B, C, or D when I wrote that post. Personally I think LSD is for scientists to experiment with not adult children. Reason being is, I don't want my children experimenting with it, I did that for them, and they trust me when I say its a no no even if you do not. I think in England, there is clear justification for legalising Cannabis, Marijuana, Hemp and Weed in a well regulated way but I really would not want the first ever headshop to be selling LSD like a sweet shop. If they allowed that that they may as well sell speed/Billy/whizz whatever you wish to call it which I also say is a no no because I don't want my grandchildren children experimenting with it, as after several days of wokeness I did not enjoy seeing the imaginary man waving his bat at me in the distance. A word of advice, don't go looking for the imaginary man, you won't find him. - You are worthy, you are loved, and you are enough.

Hell, ukdave, i take ppl online at face value, so i believe ya. Never thot u were on LSD, cuz u never said you were.
And it may have sounded like i implied you have schizophrenia, but I never thot that either. I mentioned that to
show how brain chemistry can be so varied and different from one to the next.

What I wonder is if you and padawan here could lucid dream, and meet up. Like you two fly across the Atlantic
and meet up in the cloud somewhere. Then when you'd both wake up, compare notes. Now there's a hella new style
internet with the lucid world wide dream. I'm about half serious, would it work? There another member here, named
lusidghost, pretty smart guy too. I wonder if he dreams lucidly too. You three should start a Lucid World Wide Dream
team or something. I'll monitor and take notes, because i'm really interested.

Hey doughper, all is well, I think its okay to offend each other for a laugh, except where there is bad intention, because that is Narcissism. For those who don't know what Narcissism is, its a simple concept to grasp, how many legends are in this room? One, me.

As it happens my sister has been labelled schizophrenic, whereas I know her better than most doctors so I have my doubts, I've known her ever since she was small. I personally think she is so stressed out by her life and all the woke propaganda and BS being fed into her sensistive mind, all the people in her face minimising her as a useless eater, that up has popped a mental illness, its stress induced. The doctors choose to call it schizophrenia. She's institutionalised atm, probably mumbling away right now.

Its fine, you can even call me a glue sniffer and I won't mind. I'm not too keen on tax evader though. Yes I once took copious amounts of LSD, Fix-o-fix, and evo-stick glue, so if anyone does knows if there is an accecible 'other side' to be mapped out and explored, flag and all, its probably me. Lucid dreaming is really difficult state to get into and then remain within. The 'new style internet' you refer to is called the metaverse and is going to be a very good synthetic version, a wannabe domain, no doubt the Narcissists will fill it with frightening games to play, some the same scary stuff you do see with LSD. At the Lucidity Institute they used to sell a head device years ago which covered your eyes, and led's would woke you up hopefully in the dream state, but staying in the lucid state is the hard bit. A virtual headset in the metaverse is about as near as you will get here on earth to the real deal in my opinion. The astral planes some like to call it, which reminds me of when I thought I could read Tarot.

There is the assumption that the 'other side' is static, unchanging, and therefore mappable, but I'm not so sure because you try returning to the same place, I suspect much of it is dynamic, created on the fly because you think a thought, and it just happens. So keep those thoughts clean boys.

I think the real deal is accessed by personal character change, because there were so many times I wanted to go up, but ended up going down to that snake pit and the other place.. So I believe demons seek to polute the 'other side' but cannot becauase it is only accessible to people who have learned their lessons, who have worked on their personal character, who are living their lives with dignity, respect, and civility. I.E. Love grants access, controlling behaviours do not.

They are not daft upstairs they are not going to let in warmongers and stirrers, people who make you feel unworthy, unloveable and not good enough, there's a no entry sign right there the size of a house.

I need to stop cussing and get me a swear box. Well, who else you gonna call.

Lulz on the narcissism bit, bro. We have the prime example of it here in the USA, in
the form of the Orange Demon.

So sorry to hear about your sis. Diagnosis of that kind is best left to the pros, or not,
maybe if you have your way. I just have known quite a few people who have it, And the stories
they told, and the lives they led would be hard for anybody, so I hope for her sake,
your sis doesn't have it. Too bad if it's misdiagnosed.

As to this "metaverse" you refer, I'm talking a bit higher realm of communication than
merely some virtual reality derived from maybe a head set or some technical device. I
was considering whether lucid dreaming itself might be a form of global communication.
Though I doubt it, but ya never know. That was why I thought you and padawan and RIU member
lusidghost should get your heads together and try some lucid dreaming you all could take
one hella nap together.
:D
I only know what I read about LD some 20 years ago, and decided
it wasn't for me. But i'd sure be interested in what you guys could come up with.

I never intended to even imply that you have schizophrenia, I hope that's not how
you understood it. I was merely trying to demonstrate the extremes of brain chemistry, which
is why I said, "It's all in their heads. It's in all of our heads." By that I meant, yanno, brain chemistry.
I never thought that you took LSD but your fellow lucid dreamer, padawan, implied that you might.

I am really sorry to hear about your sleep probs, i'm insomniac too. Been so for

I'm sure a nice fat Valium would help your insomnia. Too bad that's demonized worse than weed now.

Demonized worse than cannabis? Do tell.

I heard vals and xannies were addictive as hell. Worse than crack, i've always heard that.
I did vals years ago, and i can see how they'd be addictive, I loved that stuff. But only
got to try them a scant few times. Don't get me wrong, I got into Quaaludes decades ago
too, and loved them things, wowee. :D But just never got the opportunity for vals or xannies.
Good cannabis helps w/sleep some, but i can't do it. can't sleep. Thanks anyway. Those things
are for anxiety and panic attacks anyway, aren't they? Oh, another thing I tried for sleep is
Melatonin.

Bad, bad, bad. So I buy this bottle of melatonin pills, over the counter and it's a1 mg pill. So somehow I kind of read
that you don't need much. So i took that 1mg pill and cut into 8ths, and did an 8th of
a mg, what's that, 125 micrograms? And at 11pm, i'm yawning away, head upstairs, slept
8 hours like a baby, did my day great, no side effects. Did it the next night, next day, i was
pretty damn grumpy, well, I'm normally grumpy, so no biggy. Did a third night, next day
i was pretty damn angry, and so angry wife noticed, and said maybe it's the melatonin.
I dropped that shit like a bad habit and the anger ceased. Sleeplessness continued, but
better off tired than angry as that shit made me. Only 1/8 of a milligram, yeah, that stuff
can be dangerous I think. At least for me it is.
