if i had more time to take pics i would shes growing almost out of control. i might have to trim off some of the side branching to keep her from getting too bushy... hopefully she will focus more so on flowering soon. i donno about the whole auto flowers being crap.. if they get as large as this all the time i dont see a point in growing photos other than if you want something extremely large or like to clone.

as far as being less potent..I guess we will just have to wait and see

I've smoked some decent auto buds, but others made me tired. I think one reason I like the photoperiods more is that you have more control over when it starts to flower. I can screw things up pretty badly in veg and it won't hurt anything because I can just veg longer, but with autos they are on a fixed track and every mistake costs a little yield.

yes i suppose so. but right now.. shes taking over half of my 4x2 tent..its the largest auto ive ever grown. and now the flowers are just starting to sparkle.. probably got at least a month more to flower

pics soon holy fuck..is all im gonna say about her...ive been lazy on trimming but instead put my cheap 26 watt LED's on the walls for side lighting and moved the CXA up about a foot .. i donno if i want to trim it as it seems to just keep making bud sights.. and there all about the size of what id think would be considered smoke able.. i mean when its done..


( side note) I am an experienced outdoor and guerrilla grower. this is my first true indoor grow.. and also my first attempt at DWC.. that being said.. I know how to gauge what a plant will look like when its done. and over the years can make an educated guess on final yield.. how ever this sucker has me guessing the whole way through.. also does not help that no matter what nutes i give it it eats them..from what ive read most autos are little bitches when it comes to nutes..

sitting at 6.1ph its doing awesome at 1700ppm.. now i donno about most of you guys.. but i never go over 1400 in most cases.. so this is one fuck of an auto i wish i could clone..... crop king really out done themselves on this one.. its like a photo with just barley enough of an auto trait to make it flower..could be the pheno is leaning onto the big bud side of things rather than the widow

yes im gonna do that tonight. also might add some UV lights to it as well.. this is an experiment after all.. dont care about the results... i really thought it be dead by now with the 1700ppm...nope, just gets bigger

i was gonna ask when i should start trimming it.. i wanted it to get as much use out of its leaves as possible before cutting them

When it comes to autos idk When to start trimming. but it's best done a little bit at a time. I've only grown one auto in a greenhouse. I have a couple beans packed away that I could play with.

UPDATES.. I did some leaf removing not really any trimming.. shes getting chunky and stinky and sparkles.. i think its about week 5 into flower and week 8 from seed. going strong.. also moved the pc into its 10 gallon home.. not much growth so far but i bet its trying to grow roots.

it seems to be what its advertised as being. a white widow x big bud.. and she smells very Brazilian, nice and spicy,a little fruity and just a hint earthy, Trichs growing on the fan leaves, big juicy buds, for an auto she seems pretty nice..
the PC is still alive not much growth but hopefully its just focusing on roots then explodes. if not ill start another PC or maybe do a seedsman white widow.

pineapple chunk.. but i think there might bee too much salt in the coco coir.. i might have to flush her out if i dont see an improvement next week.. doesnt seem to be growing much.. but i did just transplant it into the 10 gal.. so could be trying to root.. the soil was filled with bacteria and fungi about a week before transplant and then i gave it water plus hydro guard,zho and some root starter, and just a tiny bit of nutes, so its probably focusing on that

pics soon.. there gonna be a surprise.....plus my light though late came in. 420nm wave length. and a 10,000K...for experiment....maybe there's way more to the 420 meaning than one knows?

its a t5 4 foot each bulb is 28 watts but it can handle 54 each. the suckers have grown so fat i needed to tie the buds together because they started to droop..

one bad newb mistake i let one of the colas touch the led and it got burnt.. but it was just the top of the secondary colas..

for a first DWC indoor try. Id say im doing okay... the pics will tell no lies.

impressive, especially teh buds way down at the bottom look like they are getting nice a fat too.

well i think it might almost be that time....... its 7 weeks old now and she got fat and crunky..lowered her nutes to about 300ppm and will be topping up with ro water then add GH flora kleen 3 days before I kill her

a wee bit of an accident the t5 melted the string I had holding it up and it fell into the plant.. also droopy due to good reasons.
