I did a lot off side by side and organic win sry ...if it work for you good for you. try my mix make a side by side with clone you will feel it and smell it !good luck ps got my best yield with organic in 14 years off growing i will never go back to hydro coco...canna dyna grow megacrop jack 321 and more ... I love simple organic growing.
Please update us after 5 crops in the same soil growing organically! The main reason LPs utilize non-organic methods is to avoid potential problems. Such as those that arise in organic soil beds. Pests, moulds, and fungi will always find a way unless the grow room is on Mars in Elon Musks greenhouse.
EDIT: This grow is so tiny. A few plants in a spare room. I doubt using high quality nutrients vs organic nutrients would make a difference at all.

I don't use Gaia products but I'm currently on round 6 with the same organic soil mix, amended and reused, no chemical ferts added ever, and things are going about as well as any previous round...I'm sure there are tons of people who have been doing it way longer and better than me too.

You are right to point out the difference between a home grow and a large-scale grow, though. On a large scale it might make sense to use an inert medium where you can have that level of control. Plus then it's like, your job, not a hobby that you spend 20-30 minutes a day doing.

I don't think your point is going to gain much traction in this thread because the whole reason folks switch to this method is the simplicity and low-effort nature of it. Personally, I love that I can just water my plants and add a couple scoops of the goods every now and then. I do not miss the days of mixing and measuring every time I go to water.

Again, what positive effects have you observed when using dry ferts during veg and liquid/chemical nutes during flower? I think the difference would have to be pretty dramatic to get anyone in this thread to change their mind...

they look great! If you don’t mind me asking what is your initial soil mix before you plant or transplant?

They look great….tons of trichs in the 3/4 week range is what you’re looking for. They’re gonna be some kind of frosty
I run close to the same process, except I use coco.
I’ve been thinking about trying pro mix…..tell me, how often do you water??
And any cal mag needed??
I’m also running neck and neck with the stage
of your grow. I flipped on 1/8 and saw the first pistils around 1/14…..so I just finished week 3 of flower.
I had two great looking plants that I had trained aggressively and they had dozens of tops. Then about 10 days ago, one of them hermied…..balls everywhere, so I removed and trashed. Now I’m left with just one but She is looking pretty good IMO. Grown from seed, feminized Diesel. And that smell is starting to get strong.
Good luck and I hope they finish out strong.

My tap is about 8.0-8.2 ph…..I use an organic ph down and drop it to 6.1-6.3,,
I know I probably don’t have to ph it, but I afraid not to.

Mine is at 7,3ph 120ppm
Some do test if you ph it at 6,1 and it go back up after 48h or 24h it mean is full of calcium ...what is the ppm of your tap

Peace.
Your plants look beautiful bro! Would scare me to leave em in the last 2 crucial weeks. Curious how much power u putn on them and what distance? My girls are struggling to take 190 watts at 2'. Had to lower it to 175 at same height. They still in veg but I wanna push em a bit. I see some guys giving they girls 300-400 watts at same distance. Do u think mine are just acting bitchy?

I'm jealous! My girls aint getn nothing compared to yours. About 150 watts at 2' height. I honestly don't want huge plants cus my space is limited but I do want them to all have a decent yield. I usually pull close to same yield each run with each light. Any idea why mine can't take much light?? Of course I know im still in veg and can up it some in bloom. Im not complaining cus light bill is low considering everything im running but would be nice to push it a lil harder. I haven't maxed my lights since earlier grows. It worked but at that time I wasn't paying no attention to leaves.

5 gallon fabric pot each pot containt:
4 gallon promix hp
1 cup worm casting
3/4cup 444 gaia green
Tap water
Ok getting ready to build my soil for the next grow.
5 gallon felt pots AC infinity
4 gallon HP promix
I want to use 1 gallon EWC
3/4 cup 444
also adding some
Mycorrhizal Fungi Root Enhancer

then at week 3
1/4 cup 444
1/4 cup 284
1/4 cup EWC

not thinking i'll need more HP since using more EWC to start?

then 3 weeks later hit it again with the same and should be done adding nutes since these are autos.

sound good?

thanks

Dont stop giving nutes all the way til the end. They surprise u sometimes with extra weeks to go.
all mine im running this go r 60-70 day strains so dont want to add nutes at day 63 as they will be of no use and I will flush for 1-2 weeks after adding at day 42..

No matter what breeder info says plant will finish when it's ready. If u want green plant til the end dont stop feeding it. Why would u flush organic nutes? Absolutely no need. There is no built up salts in the medium. Flushing medium stresses plant (overwatering) which is another reason plants take longer then expected. It needs recover time afterwards. Medium is even better when reused with all the microbe activity. Im not flushing money down the drain. There's a host of other reasons plants can take longer then expected. Breeder has optimal environment. Training, trimming, pruning, defoliating, light or heat stress, deficiency, etc can all give u a longer bloom time.
