the general expert drain to waste program every other watering and some good ol black strap molases added to that has done me fairly well so far.

hey Dr. Von

how do you feel about coco. do you agree that it is best suited for drain to waste?

should i do anything special when flooding the coco

well you know about the aero setup.

but some dude was trying to argue me down saying that coco is best drain to waste....

In my opinion it's more of a choice than preferred method(drain to waste/drip/flood/aero----the coco medium can and will work equally as well in all methods(I've tried all of them at one time or another)--From the info I have gotten from you on other posts u know what your doing and things are moving in the right direction so why worry about another grower. brother----keep up the good work!!!

B-1 Thrive can be used for all stages of growing , from just rooted seedling being planted all the way to harvest

If you like the B-1 Thrive you should try the THRIVE ALIVE w/B made from sea kelp and the plants goes crazy over the stuff.
I wanna try to find Super Thrive , in the end I'm gonna try to go into all organic growing besides the soil, read that alot of people got bugs in their organic soil but I live in Canada so I dk if they have Thrive Alive here

Do you have access to a hydro shop? If you do try some-I have super thrive/power thrive and the organic(thrive alive/B). The plants love the stuff and research is finding that sea kelp does lots of great things for our plants.

yes I do have a hydro shop near me that's where I bought my B-1 Thrive from

Did you get my reply to your pm?

yessir, i was going to reply in the PM...

but fuck it, i already got you here..so why not....

thanks for all the help. i think im going to switch their food from sensi to canna's line. im tired of supplementing cal/mag.

i swear coco sure is a HOG!!!! im thinking when i switch back to canna's line i wont have those problems....as i've never had them before until i tried a new nute. Nothing is wrong with AN, i just need to use coco specific nutes so i dont have to supplement with others. and i dont think i want to use IJ from AN....Canna for me.

thanks again!

1 drop per gallon, be careful

The one drop per gallon on the super thrive is a concentration minimum per gallon--as long as your plant are three weeks old you can give them 5ml per gallon every other watering with no problems---as far as the thrive alive you can give it at 12ml per gallon every other watering, it's
sea kelp based and not as concentrated as the super or power thrive.

I read the container and it says that you can use 2ml of B-1 Thrive for 1L of water

and oh yea. the transplant into straight coco went well!

no nutes at all! im flushing? i guess that is what its called. pure RO water.

im still new to this soil/soilless handwatering thing...lol

has hydro made me lazy? lol

I dont use the stuff, and I have heard good, and bad. Ive watched noobs burn the fuck out of they're plants with the stuff. I grow organically because of the taste and smell it will produce. Thats why I dont grow hydro.
