I would say it probably has a lot to do with the type of light and how stretched out they are..

Calling all experienced growers!! My plants are growing from seed and they are 12 days old at 5 inches.... My 125w cfl got broken by my dog. Had to do emergency adjustments by at least switching to 12 hrs outside light and 12 hrs by one regular 60 watt incandescent light bulb. I'm unable to get another 125 watt bulb to replace with.... Any suggestions? Only got thirty bucks to keep this grow going... Am I screwed or can I still pull this off? Oh, since they stretched all sorts of crazy due to lighting problems(60 watt incandescent = 800 lumens) on four 4-5 inch sprouts, I have LST'ed them to accomadate. Any insight or help would be much appreciated!

check your paper for sales on warm white cfl's
you might be able to get them for 99 cents each for 23w.
get a couple y splitters and rig it up with a 10 inch clamp light.
then get a good light again once you can afford it.
